In this first-of-its-kind festival, SPOKEN celebrates the magic of words, giving stage to some of the most vibrant voices in live storytelling, poetry, spoken word and song from across India and around the globe this October 28th & 29th 2017 at Mumbai’s JioGarden.

Over the course of two days, SPOKEN shines a spotlight on more than 50 artists ~ serving up an eclectic mix of exciting performance art and artists in languages as varied as Urdu, English, Hindi and Kannada.

Gates open in the afternoon to crooning buskers in up-close-and-personal performances. Or if you’d like to discover your own voice, take advantage of rare opportunities to learn from world renowned masters in live and theatrical storytelling. Don’t miss Shakespearian shenanigans if theatre’s your thing and of course we’ll be featuring some of the most potent poets and scintillating storytellers.

Loads of good food and drink will be served and designed spaces will offer meeting spaces to mix and mingle with your friends or a respite to marinate and unwind.

As sun sets on the city of dreams, our headlining artists will take to the main stage. Get ready to be entertained, enthralled and inspired. Bring a blanket and grab your spot on the main lawn early! You’re in for an experience like no other.
