What is STAYIN ALIVE
When the going gets tough, the world turns to art. In our darkest moments, we turn to our favourite songs, films, stories. But in times like this, artists need support, too.
A few of us organizations have come together to set up stayIN aLIVE, a foundation that aims to support artists by collecting funds for the artists most in need due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The funds are meant for artists who need emergency funds to survive and are not meant as creation grants.
Why be part of this campaign?
You, the audience, are the foundation of the performance arts community. And the community needs your support now more than ever.
stayIN aLIVE is a chance to watch your favourite artists from music, comedy, storytelling, theatre and more in an avatar that you have never seen before. From motivation to digital hacks to mental health to never-seen-before collaborations, these artists will spark conversations and open doorways in your mind.
What do you need to do?
All you need to do is donate whatever amount you’d like and do your bit to help art survive in the post-Covid world.
How will the funds be disbursed?
A panel will meet every three to six weeks. Shortlisted applicants (artists) will be informed via email/phone and funds will be disbursed once all the requisite documents are collected within fourteen days of the fund meeting. The disbursal will happen via the NGO Give India’s channels. The funds are meant for artists who need emergency funds to survive and are not meant as creation grants.
Donation & Rewards Structure
All events can be accessed for free. All you have to do is RSVP for the event. However if you do want to help an artist survive, we'll make it worth your while.
Donation of ₹199 and ₹499 gets you a Social Media Shout-out
Donation of ₹999 gets you a Live Shout-Out by the artists in the session during the event.
Donation of ₹4999 gets you access to an exclusive mentorship session with one of the Stayin aLIVE artists.
