#KNMATEENS teaching young people skills that still fall by the wayside inconventional education and empower them in a practical way to use their creativity to achieve sustainable goals. An idea for which the Indian cineaste, animator and coach, Siddharth Maskeri, also stands.

KNMA brings you a fun interactive 5 day Stop Motion and Animation workshop at KNMA Saket. During the 5 days, those interested can become animated filmmakers themselves and even more, they will work on key future skills such as storytelling, personal and digital creative techniques alongside Siddhart Maskeri. 

An intense 5 day animation workshop which offers a healthy space for our young creators to raise their consciousness towards the self, environment, and their purpose. Verbalize their awareness and the change they desire. Express their creativity. Trust and interact with each other and share their ideas on - Interconnectedness, Responsible Consuming & Climate Action.

Learn how to express their ideas through an animated short. Build sensitivity towards experimentation and learning from failure. Building a community of creators and storytellers that make a real difference in society. Fostering a love for artistic and creative endeavors as an essential aspect of a full life.

PROGRAM INSIGHTS

DAY 1:

Raising Consciousness towards Self and Environment, Identifying the idea for the animated short. Learn how to Build a Story around the Idea using the Story Rainbow, Understanding Story Structure. Visualizing Storyboarding and The Role of Camera in Storytelling.

DAY 2:

Identifying/Creating the Assets - Characters, Props, and Environment

DAY 3:

Complete Asset Creation, Play with Animation Technique and Stop Motion Studio App

DAY 4:

Edit the shots in Inshot App and add Music.

Share the film, reflect on the Learning and Celebrate

About The Artist - Siddharth Maskeri

Siddharth Maskeri is a visionary, storyteller, and mentor who is driven to spread happiness and togetherness through his thought-provoking, evolutionary, unifying, and humanifying stories. He took a conscious leap from the field of microbiology into the field of storytelling and animation. He made his debut in Indian Cinema with his story – Masti Express. Enko The Eskimo – a kids’ animated series was co-produced by Emmy Nominated Writer Mike Blum. The versatile creator- storyteller-producer is also co-producing an animated series along with Toonz Media Group, Assemblage Entertainment, and Citrus Ink Studios. He has designed characters for Get My Goat – a Dreamworks YouTube animated series. His love for sharing the art of story ideation, visualization, and 3D animation has provided a healthy ground for students across several animation schools across India.
