Thread art consists of threads held between nails hammered into a base. Multiple straight lines of string can form shapes ranging from simple curves to more complex shapes resembling flowers, animals or your favourite words.

In this workshop, we take a step further. Using a pinewood cube lamp as a base for the art gives the participants an opportunity to learn as well as take home the cutest accent decor one could imagine. Participants will be taught this technique to create these intricate string art designs, and artists will be present to help guide each guest through their own custom piece!

The motive of this workshop will be to learn the basics of thread art and also about the various material which can be incorporated.

The session will start with the introduction to the art that thread art consists of threads held between nails hammered into a base. Multiple straight lines of string can form shapes ranging from simple curves to more complex shapes resembling flowers, animals or your favourite words.

The highlight of the workshop will be the Vintage Edison bulb lamp embodied by fine pinewood cubes, which will be used as the base. One or more face of the side faces available can be used to carry on the thread art whereas the Edison bulb rests on the top face of the cube making the cube not only aesthetically pleasing but also a subpar home decor item.

Using a cube as a base for the art gives the participants an opportunity to learn as well as take home the eye candy lamp. Participants will also be familiarised by the concepts involved in the placement of the lamp so as to make the most of the workshop.
