About the Artist

Celebrate folklore with Jasleen Aulakh’s soulful music, which can be best expressed as multifaceted rhythms that pertains to no one genre. With Polly Saghera’s lyrics and Jasleen’s symphonies, the duo aim at producing meaningful music that celebrates life’s joys along with its struggles.

Their project aims to popularise folk music which has taken a back seat in modern times. They also want to make the philosophy of the great Sufi poets more relatable for all, Polly and Jasleen add to the words of these poets, their own compositions making them exceptional and an extension of their musical genre.

Songs such as Ranjha, Madaaniya, Laiyaan Laiyaan and Nahi Jaana, are all beautiful renditions of once popular folk songs that we still remember growing up listening to on VCR cassettes. While many of these songs have been modernized and remixed, Jasleen’s versions have retained their organic flavor that still resonates with fond memories. Jasleen Aulakh’s songs on YouTube have gained a lot of popularity and received appreciation from the world over.

About the Event

Titled ‘Supna’ this musical soiree is a traditional baithak-style house concert taking place in a secret location in DLF Phase 4,Gurgaon, the address reveal will happen two days before the event i.e. 27th Feb, via the registered email and phone number provided. With very limited seating this intimate baithak is a one-of-a-kind concept that allows a more immersive and wholesome experience with the artist from a very close proximity. With 'Supna', we, at TheVouchMag want to take our audiences on a journey back in time, with songs that will definitely hit that nostalgic nerve.
