- Visit the store to swap or sell! 

At Bombay Closet Cleanse, we offer you two options in exchange for your clothes:

1. Upfront Payment:

We pay you a lump sum in exchange for your clothes based on the fixed price list shared with you. This amount is transferred to you digitally within 24 hours (usually within an hour based on your preferred mode of payment).

2. Swap

The more popular and higher value option is to swap your clothes! We can offer you a store credit value based on the clothes you give us. This store credit can be used for a year at our store or website. You can even choose to redeem it on the spot.

What To Expect

The resale value of used clothing is not high, even if it is unused or with a tag - once second-hand, the cost of something instantly drops to less than 50% . Please ensure you go through our price list before booking the slot.

Instructions:

• Your clothes must be washed.
• Any musty/smelly/unclean clothes will be rejected and will not be reviewed by our staff.
• The maximum limit for the number of clothing is 100 pieces. If you have a larger quantity of clothing, you can book 2 slots. 
• If clothes are out of style, slow-moving or in any way unfit for resale, our staff will have the discretion to reject them.
• Clothes must be packed in disposable bags i.e. bags you don’t need back. We do not accept suitcases or bulky bags. These need to be labelled with your Contact Name & Number.
• Please arrive on time. Late arrival will result in cancellation of your slot.
• No refunds will be issued if you miss your slot. To reschedule, you must book the slot again. 
• Please go through our price list thoroughly before dropping by.
• No bargaining with the staff. Staff decisions are final and not negotiable.
• Feel free to go through our website/Instagram profile to get an understanding of the clothing we accept.

 Selection Criteria

• Branded and unbranded western clothing is accepted.
• Clothing with faulty zippers, tears, stains, fabric pilling will be rejected.
• Accessories and shoes will not be accepted for resale.
• Casual kurtis are accepted only if they belong to the following brands — Fab India, Biba, Global Desi.
• No ethnic wear/heavy gowns etc are accepted currently.
• Used undergarments and swimwear are not accepted due to hygiene reasons.

Luxury Closet

If you have luxury bags, clothing or accessories (/Luxury brand/Designer/Limited Edition/ Vintage), please get in touch with us on Instagram. We accept luxury items at higher prices on a consignment basis.

Terms and Conditions:

The 99/- booking fee is for assigning you a slot and it helps compensate for our time. It is not refundable. However it can be redeemed if you buy something at the store/can be adjusted with your swap credit.

The staff can choose to not buy/accept your clothes based on our discretion.

Ticket booking does not guarantee a sale. We do not offer any compensation or refunds if your clothes are not selected.

Upfront payment will be made within 24 hours based on your mode of payment.
