There's no better way than storytelling to give voice to your experiences and emotions, and the essence of a story lies in the language that it is portrayed in. Our world houses thousands of languages, bustling together and making way for each other. This is a symphony that is vital to our being, but that we also oftentimes tend to overlook. Often, our emotions get lost in between translations and pronunciations. 

In an effort to further expand our platform in the realm of languages, Tape A Tale presents to you 'Telugu Tales' This is an open mic event that additionally features some curated performers. A total of 8 tellers will be sharing their personal stories, out of which 3 spots will be curated by us!

If you have a story to tell:

1) If you wish to perform in the open mic, please send us your story in audio format ONLY to stories@tapeatale.com with the subject line 'Telugu Tales' 3 stories will be shortlisted by us, and the rest of the 5 stories will be randomly picked by our host on the day of the event!

2) Only real-life based personal stories will be accepted for this event. The story has to be in the first-person narrative.

3)The length of the story should not exceed a total of 5-6 minutes.
