The Darkroom 2.0 - An Immersive Sensory Experience
1 Venue | 1 Show | 3 Stories | Multiple Experiences
After our success from last year, we have decided to push our limits further and explore more to bring true immersive experience for our audience, where we take you through a sensory experience while touring you through the beautiful space that is handcrafted into a darkroom where every corner will tell you a story.
We invite you to this thrilling journey of exploration of 3 classical stories being unfolded in a unique experiential way in front of you. Where the thrill of uncertainty and unknowing is implicated by the blindfold. Upon arrival, while you are still kept blindfolded you are greeted with characters from the story whispering in your ears. It is said a scent can bring back some memories and so we expose you with some scents distinctively from each story. You are also give the power to decide the faith of the characters from the story. Whereas at times they themselves invited you in their stories. They become your friends and share some jokes and stories with you. And finally, they mix so well with you that the line between the actor and the character is blurred and you are transformed to virtual reality.
All this to only create a unique experience for you where we strive to make it worth every penny for our audience.
So, if you are as ready... To experience Dark and Immersive Theatre for stories so woeful and the world shuffled upside down for stepping into a postmodernist journey of expressions and reactions then, Rangaai Theatre Company invites you to The Darkroom 2.0
- Guests have to arrive 20 minutes before the show time
- It is going to be an immersive theatre experience where they may take you through different spaces and different stories, so seats are optional and they would suggest guests are mentally prepared to stand through most of the event or offer the seat to those who need it most
- The performance intends to evoke emotions such as fear and also make audiences uncomfortable so as to feel the empathy towards the protagonist
- Finally the most important rule come with an open mind to enjoy the thrill ride through some classic stories presented with an immersive experience.
