An online performance platform created to allow movement artist/dancers from various genres of dance to be able to share their stories through their movement. We hope to bring the best possible thatrical experience to you which you can view from the comfort of your home with friends and family. This event has been curated by 'The Movement Hub' which is an enterprise built to help promote and spread the word of movement in any and every way possible.

Theme : 'The miracle is to walk on the green earth, dwelling deeply in the present moment and feeling truly alive.'

This time the show will entail performances where the artists speak about an experience, a moment, a thing or a story that really made them feel alive and present. Just like the earth is a place of birth, a place where life grows from and is held together, the dancers will try and live this feeling through their works.

Performing Artists:

Andrew G. -

"A freelancing dance artist with a natural passion for life: Andrew Gibson is a graduate of Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Carrying with him many years of experience within: hip hop; popping; contemporary release; and styles alike, in context to choreography & improvisation.

Drew is an advocate for self-expression and movement, beyond the boundaries of labels and styles, whilst still integral to the importance of foundational dance. He perceives movement as a powerful tool, seeing its potential to allow us all to connect internally & externally: on a very deep level."

Karma C. -

Karma Chuki is a professional dancer currently pursuing dance at Peridance International Dance School in New York. Karma was trained under The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy since 2012 and has coexisted with the company as a dancer and a teacher. She later became one of the principal dancers of India’s leading touring company, Navdhara India Dance Theatre. Her dance experience as a soloist and as part of a team with NIDT spreads across Israel, Germany, USA, Poland, Canada, China, and a few more. She has trained extensively in the styles of Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, hip-hop, Improvisation and Kathak.

Dimple -

Dimple Champaneria has over 16+ years of experience in the dance industry. She has trained in Bharatanatyam, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Waacking under prestigious names and places namely, The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy, Nupur Zankar Kala Kendra, Fairplay Dance Camp etc. Dimple has worked with several artists and companies ranging from international choreographers Bobby Newberry ,Dana Alexa to brands like L'oreal, Sony TV India.

For her dance/movement is an amalgamation of something of its own :beyond labels of genres ,it is energy in motion and is a language of expression and communication from the heart.

Prachi - 

Prachi Joshi started off as a Bharatanatyam dancer at the age of 8. She picked up a passion for Bollywood dancing and has been performing professionally with Bollywood teams over the last 8 years. She further expanded her training in Salsa, Bachata and is a newbie in Kathak.

Aishwarya -

Aishwarya Raut has an M.A. in Professional Dance Performance. She is currently working at Rambert Dance Company, in London. Aishwarya has performed in and around the UK, EU and Australia in works by choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Sidi Larbi, Rafael Bonachela, Hofesh Shechter, Marion morin, Wayne McGregor, Benoit Swan Pouffer and Wim Vandekeybus. Her prominent commercial work includes ‘Rocketman’ , BBC worldwide showcase and Brit Awards.

Arya - 

Arya Mehta began dancing at the age of 4 under the late Tushna Dallas, after which she joined The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy where she trained and taught for almost 10 years. Arya is now a freelance dancer and choreographer and some of her works include performing at the A R Rahman Live concert and Aladdin the Musical.

Ritu -

Ritu Varier graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Contemporary Dance and Arts and Festivals Management from De Montfort University. Prior to that, she trained at The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy. Ritu also holds a diploma in Bharatanatyam from Mumbai University (Nalanda Dance Research Center). 

Ritu founded Itthā Dance Theatre in 2019 because she felt there was a lack of performance opportunity for dancers in India. The company tells stories through movement in their work and their first production Hurriya will premiere soon.

Vishrut -

Vishrut Doshi started his training under Shiamak Davar, he then received a scholarship and continued his training at The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy in Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz. He is a professional trainer in Garba and was given the Garba King title at NESCO Rangilo Re 2019. Vishrut has choreographed several pieces for dance festivals and events.

Anjana -

Anjana Ghonasgi is a versatile performer/ teacher/ choreographer with over 18+ years of experience expanding both in India and New York. She holds a Masters Diploma in Bharatanatyam and is a graduate from Broadway Dance Center, New York. Anjana is a member of Kalamandir Dance Company and has worked as a professional artist in New York for 3 years. Highlight of Anjana's career thus far has been performing with music maestro A.R. Rahman for IIFA Rocks 2017 at MetLife Stadium. She founded 'Mudra-Tutting' and was featured as a commissioned artist on BOXED 3.0. Anjana has also been featured on DNA India and Telegraph India newspapers for her works.
