Jamjar Diner & Raconteur Tours Presents: The Christmas Crawl
'Tis the time to soak in all the festivities, and Bandra is the place to start!
Hosted by Jamjar Diner, the Christmas Walk begins at the 17th century Portuguese Castella de Aguada, popularly known as the Bandra Fort. You later climb up Mount Mary Hill to explore the history, architecture and popular traditions of Mount Mary Church, a Bandra institution followed by St Stephens and Mehboob Studios. You head on to Ranwar village, one of Bandra's few surviving East Indian village communities, and explore it first-hand. Take a walk down Chimbai village – one of the oldest settlements in the good old Bandra and explore its gems, old and new. Finally, pay a visit to the St. Andrew's Church - one of the oldest churches in Mumbai, built by the Portuguese Jesuits in 1575. You'll finish the crawl at the Jamjar Diner where you’ll be served delectable refreshments.
Find your favorite holiday ugly sweater and join in as you go dashin' through the gems of Bandra this holiday season!
