This is more than ‘just another trip to Ladakh’ – we’ve made the route our own, with plenty of adventure, White Collar Hippie style. Because sometimes, shortcuts just don’t cut it. When you’re in Ladakh, you want to follow the long and winding roads and let them lead you where they may. As we cycle down from Khardungla, go white-water rafting, trek through Sham Valley among other things, we’ll see fascinating Ladakhi life, majestic views and uncover the stories of this amazing plateau and its fascinating people!

Trip Flow

DAY 1: Overnight bus from Delhi to Manali.

DAY 2: Spend the day exploring Manali.

DAY 3: Manali to Jispa; drive through Rohtang Pass and Keylong.

DAY 4: Jispa to Leh; monster drive with absolutely stunning views while crossing Pang, Sarchu and high Passes of Baralacha La and Tanglang la

DAY 5: Explore Leh old town and get acclimatised to the altitude.

DAY 6: Sham valley trek day 1: trek to Himisshukpachen, Yanthang and then an overnight stay at Sumdo.

DAY 7: Sham Valley trek day 2: trek from Sumdo to Likir and back to Leh. En route stop at Chilling and go for a fun rafting experience at the Zanskar River.

DAY 8: Drive to Pangong Lake. Overnight camping in a luxury tent. Visit a few monasteries en route.

DAY 9: Drive from Pangong to Nubra and visit the Diksit monastery and the 100ft Buddha statue. Later head to the sand dunes for camel ride. Overnight camping in luxury tents.

DAY 10: Nubra to Khardung La to Leh; drive upto Khardong La and then cycle down 40km from the worlds highest motorable road all the way to Leh.

DAY 11: Leh to Mulbekh; leave early morning and drive to Mulbekh / Kargil. En route get to witness the magic of Magnetic Hill and Indus Zaskar Confluence.

DAY 12: Leave early morning from Mulbekh, pass Kargil War Memorial and Kargil Mosque. Reach Srinagar at noon and head to the airport to catch a flight back home.

  • You can take any flight that reaches Delhi before 4 pm on Day 1.
  • If you’re doing the 9-day Ladakh trip, then you must take any flight that reaches Leh on the morning of Day 4.
  • Return: Any evening flight out from Srinagar on the last day of the trip.
