About the Event
‘The Native Table’ is here to offer a unique dining experience with the passionate homegrown chef from Brazil, Marilia Brugnolo. Join us and be a part of an evening filled with stories about shared histories of food and culture between India and Brazil.
Marilia Brugnolo’s culinary journey is deeply inspired by the vibrant culture, traditions, and ingredients of Brazil, which she loves sharing with her new home, India. She also founded a food company dedicated to bringing authentic Brazilian flavours to India, called Vida Boa by Brazil Food Co.
The experience will include an interactive guided tour by our storytellers of the Histories of Goa exhibition followed by a flavorful exploration of Brazilian cuisine, with Marilia weaving stories of tradition into every bite.
The menu will include alcohol with non-alcoholic option available.
The Feijoada will have a Red Meat & Vegetarian option.

Itinerary
1745 hrs - Meet and Greet and introduction of storytellers
1800 hrs - Guided tour of the food and cultural history of Goa
1830 hrs - Free time to explore the other exhibits in the Gallery on your own
1900 hrs - Marilia welcomes the guests with Pão de Queijo, Brazil’s beloved cheese bread, paired with the refreshing fruity Caipirinha, the country's national cocktail.
1915 hrs - Seating and service of the curated menu and storytelling session with the Chef.

Pão de Queijo - Brazil’s beloved cheese bread prepared using tapioca flour, Parmesan, mussarela cheese and milk and Paprika and Wine Butters.
Caipirinha - refreshing fruity Caipirinha, the country's national cocktail made with Mahua liquor and fresh red fruits.
Acai Lemonade - A sweet drink made with a combination of açaí, fresh red fruits, and lemon.
Feijoada - A hearty and soulful black bean stew cooked with pork and beef. Served with orange slices, farofa (toasted cassava), green leaf vegetable and spicy sauce on the side
