Giants of Jazz is back! Delhi's beloved hub of art and culture, The Piano Man Jazz Club, which has brought some unbelievable programming to the country, is all set to host the 3rd edition of its flagship festival in association with Lock & Key, Gurgaon, starting this month. This year, the festival has gone a step further and will be taking place across two cities, covering Delhi and Gurgaon from November 30th-9th December 2017.

The celebrated jazz property will be hosting incredible acts across two venues through the festival, The Piano Man Jazz Club at Safdarjung, Delhi as well as Lock & Key in Cross Point Mall, Gurgaon since there has been a growing demand from the community across both cities for an expansion of programming of this caliber. Adding a new city to the roster on popular demand, "The Piano Man Jazz Club and Lock & Key present Giants of Jazz: Volume 3" - the best of jazz musicians from across the globe, featuring both Indian and international artists and showcasing some amazing variety and influences.

The 10-day festival will bring together live performances from the best jazz artists from India and abroad in what promises to be a powerful celebration of music that’s democratic, inclusive, emotional and speaks to people across the board.

Giants of Jazz is a property that has been built and grown within India with a lot of care and curation by the The Piano Man Jazz Club team, which welcomes Lock & Key aboard as a partner venue this year to expand the offering to two cities. Lock & Key in Cross Point Mall, Gurgaon is the newest speakeasy on the block, that focuses on music genres like jazz, blues, retro rock along with artisanal cocktails and a contemporary global menu. The partnership will allow more people across Delhi and Gurgaon to experience the magic of such a festival, this year, with some incredible talent that wouldn't be as accessible otherwise.

This initiative by The Piano Man Jazz Club that began two years ago, recognizes both group and individualistic expressions of jazz, as it continues to build on the Artist-First philosophy. The festival is an out-and-out celebration of jazz and with Lock & Key on board, each day is guaranteed to be a unique experience in itself, hosting incredible talent across both venues to bring more focus to this genre and this level of programming!

The Piano Man Jazz Club and Lock & Key are hosting a special preview to Giants of Jazz with a special gig by Don't Problem on 26th November, Sunday at The Piano Man Jazz Club. The eight man trumpet behemoth from South East London (UK) is taking the brass band genre in a new direction. Featuring trumpets, trombones, saxophone, sousaphone and drums, Don't Problem's versatile performance is not to be missed. The festival begins on Thursday, 30th November with Kolkata-based trio, The Shonai Collective, a mix of funk, traditional jazz, blues and pop, who will be joined by Rie Ona and Fabio Carlucci, two amazing horn players for this special performance at The Piano Man Jazz Club, Safdarjung. On the same day at Lock & Key, Cross Point Mall, Gurgaon, Sava Boyadzhiev Trio take the stage with the skilled Bulgarian drummer joined by Sonic Shori and Paddy to create the perfect symphony.
