Thursday Vinyl Nights

Here at Adagio we like to keep everything Analogue in this Digital world. So we have come up with a couple of events to keep the analogue culture going! Thursday Vinyl Listening Sessions is One of those events. Every Thursday we play Records by different bands according to the theme of the Month. This Month's Theme is "The First of It's Name"

This January the theme of Thursday Vinyl Listening Session is "The First of it's Name"!

We'll be Playing Debut Albums by various Legendary Rock Bands hence the name "The First Of It's Name"

The 1st Van Halen:

Date and Venue: 2nd January, Chembur

Van Halen is the self-titled debut studio album by American hard rock band Van Halen. Released on February 10, 1978, the album peaked at #19 on the Billboard 200. The album became widely recognized as the band's popularity grew, selling more than 10 million copies in the United States by August 7, 1996 and being certified Diamond.

Dire Straits is the debut studio album by the British rock band Dire Straits released on 7 October 1978 by Vertigo Records internationally and by Warner Bros. Records in the United States. Dire Straits was later certified double-platinum in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

Date and Venue: 16th January, Chembur

Bad Company is the debut studio album by the English hard rock supergroup Bad Company. The album was recorded at Headley Grange with Ronnie Lane's Mobile Studio in November 1973. The album has been certified five times platinum by the RIAA, and became the 46th best selling album of the 1970s

Date and Venue: 23rd January, Bandra

Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow (sometimes stylised Ritchie Blackmore's R-A-I-N-B-O-W) is the first studio album by American/British rock band Rainbow, released in 1975. The last track of the album, "Still I'm Sad", is an instrumental cover of a song by The Yardbirds from their 1965 album Having a Rave Up with The Yardbirds.

The 1st The Doors:

Date and Venue: 30th January, Chembur

The Doors is the debut album by the American rock band the Doors. Recorded in 1966 at Sunset Sound Recorders, Hollywood, California, it was produced by Paul A. Rothchild and released on January 4, 1967. The original album has sold 20 million copies, and has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
