Trataka, meaning a steady gaze, is a powerful yogic kriya done by focusing on the candle flame. This Kriya has multiple benefits like improving eyesight, strengthening eye muscles, cleansing the eyes, improving focus & memory, dealing with insomnia, sleep disorders and headaches.

Trataka is a practice of Dharana or one-pointedness. It allows the restless mind to slow down thoughts and focus on a given point/object. This practice teaches strength & will power and helps to effectively work towards regular dhyana or meditation.

SUITABILITY

1. This session is suitable for all over the age of 14 years
2. Not recommended for those with Glaucoma, high myopia, cataracts or any other eye disorders
3. This session is not suitable for anyone diagnosed with epilepsy, schizophrenia or intense clinical depression

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS

Nishtha Bijlani has been a Yoga practitioner and teacher for the last 5 years. Her primary Yoga styles are Hatha & Ashtanga.

With warm positive energy and precise instructions, she attempts to create a fun interactive learning space for every class. Her classes shall leave you feeling relaxed yet rejuvenated, and absolutely connected with yourself.

STUDIO TERMS

1. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance for registration. Entry to this session will be closed at 5.45pm.
2. We do not permit single use plastics at The Space. Please don't carry such items with you. Water is available for all at The Space.
3. This ticket cannot be cancelled and is non refundable, (but can be transferred to another person for the same session itself)
