The shining blue-green water of Bhandardara and the surrounding lush green mountains embellished by the fireflies are a sight to behold. Imagine camping amidst the shimmering fireflies near the enchanting Bhandardara Lake.

Spend a quiet weekend among the fireflies in Bhandardara to get away from the monotony of city life. The pre-monsoon time is firefly mating season, and you may see millions of fireflies fluttering about in the dismal environment.

It's a sight to behold as if the twinklers had descended upon the world. At Bhandardara camping, soak up the allure and abundance of nature and its many experiences.

About Bhandardara Campsite

The campground will be in Bhandardara, Maharashtra's heartland, one of the darkest places in the state with the least amount of light pollution, where you will see the most menacing night sky conceivable. With the naked eye, one may see the Milky Way and numerous stars and galaxies that are never visible from the city.

We'll be photographing star trails and the Milky Way for all those astrophotographers. It'll be an absolute pleasure for your eyes. Alternatively, if you grow tired, you may relax in one of the open tents and take in the view of a million stars.

Fireflies Festival Information

Summer vacations are usually memorable. A fantastic way to finish summer vacation is to watch fireflies in the evening before the monsoon arrives. In English, they are called Fireflies. In Marathi, Kajawa, and Hindi, Jugnoo.

A total of 2,000 different types of firefly bugs have been identified. There is still much unknown information and riddles for our professionals to uncover. The following is a list of things we've learned about firefly.

Fireflies belong to the beetle order; they are not flies.

Fireflies produce light using bioluminescence through the night to lure mates or prey.

Fireflies chemically generated glow from the lower belly can be yellow, green, or light red.

Each Firefly Varieties performs its strobe pattern.

Males perform light flashing patterns to attract mates or prey.

Females fireflies respond using light patterns to select a mate.

They complete their cycle of life and die before the monsoon begins

Note:

The sighting of fireflies is a natural phenomenon that depends on weather conditions. We can hope to have a beautiful experience of exploring nature in their presence.

Please Inform about your medical issue in advance.

Participants will be responsible for their own belongings and health issues.

Avoid wearing gold or other costly jewelry.

Keep in mind we are going for Trek, not for trips, so maintain discipline and follow the leader's instructions.

Trek leader's decision will be final and binding.

Cancellation Policy

75% refund if notified via phone conversation 8 or more days prior to the event date.

50 % refund if notified via phone conversation 4 to 7 days prior to the event date.

No refund if the cancellation requested is less than 3 days prior to the event date

Event Tickets cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
