Nestled in the beautiful hills and profound valleys of Karnataka, Coorg is a renowned tourist destination.
The town is blessed with picturesque charm and scenic vistas. Other than the alluring atmosphere, this mesmerizing hill station is affluent with the cultural and historical backdrop. A tour to Coorg makes the tourists dip into a unique world of serenity and nature's bounty. Coorg, popularly known as Scotland of India, is a wonderful place to refresh yourself. Mysore is aptly known as the historical capital of Karnataka. A visit to this magical city is enough to tell you why. The grand palaces, ancient temples, rich flora and fauna, and a tranquil environment welcomes as you step inside the Mysore city. Also known as Ivory city, the city of palaces, Garden city and city of Yoga, Mysore lives up to all its names.
This 4-days and 3-nights itinerary lead to a tour that covers visiting Mysore-Coorg in a comprehensive way. The major highlights of this trip are visiting Coorg city, exploring ancient Omkareshwar Temple, witnessing exotic natural beauty at Raja's Seat and Abbey's Falls, and savouring Tibetan flavours at the Golden Temple. This tour is a perfect option for travellers to visit some of the most consecrated temples and enjoy a joyous tour to nature's fascinating Eden.

Batch 2: 08th to 11th Dec 2018
Meet & assist at Bangalore Airport/Railway Station and drive to Mysore. On arrival at Mysore city, visit Chamundi Hills, the adobe of Goddess Chamundeshwari. Then visit Mysore Zoo, St. Philomena's Church, world famous Mysore Palace and evening visit to Brindavan Gardens (KRS) which is famous for musical colour fountain; return to the hotel and overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 2: Mysore – Coorg
After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Coorg. Enroute, visit Bylukuppe Tibetan Settlement (Golden Temple), the largest Tibetan settlement in India located near Kushalanagar in Kodagu District. On arrival at Madikeri, check in to the hotel. Evening, proceed to visit Abbey Waterfalls, then to Omkareshwara Temple. Then proceed to Raja Seat and then return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Coorg (day 2)
Morning, after breakfast, full day free for sightseeing at Coorg. First, visit Dubare Elephant Camp. In the afternoon, proceed to Talacauveri and then climb Brahmagiri Peak to visit Bhagamandala and then visit the temple dedicated to Bhagandeshwara (Lord Shiva) and get the blessings. Return to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Note: - You can also visit Madikeri, it is a hill town in southern India. Framed by the Western Ghats mountain range.
Day 4: Coorg to Bangalore Drop
Check out the hotel and proceed to Bangalore. Enroute, visit Kaveri Nisargadhama, a wonderful picnic spot situated on the banks of River Kaveri at Kushalnagar and Srirangapatana. On arrival at Bangalore, you will be transferred to the railway station or airport. The trip ends with the delightful memories of Bangalore.
Meet & assist at Bangalore Airport/Railway Station and drive to Mysore. On arrival at Mysore city, visit Chamundi Hills, the adobe of Goddess Chamundeshwari - this temple is dedicated to Sri Chamundeshwari Devi who is regarded as the tutelary goddess of Mysore. After watching this beautiful temple, head to Mysore Zoo - it is one of the oldest and most famous zoos in India. It plays the role of an orphanage to the abandoned animals. After this wonderful experience of watching animals, explore the beautiful Mysore Palace. The Mysore Palace was the seat of the famous Wodeyar Maharajas of the Mysore Kingdom and today stands as precious possessions and is presently converted into a museum. After this, you can chill at Brindavan Gardens.
Day 2: Mysore – Coorg
After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Coorg. Enroute, visit Bylukuppe Tibetan Settlement (Golden Temple), the largest Tibetan settlement in India located near Kushalanagar in Kodagu District. The settlement, set up in 1960, holds several monasteries and temples of all major Vajrayana (Indo-Tibetan Buddhist) lineages. On arrival at Madikeri, check in to the hotel. Evening, proceed to visit Abbey Waterfalls, then to Omkareshwara Temple - a temple having both Islamic and gothic style of architecture. Then proceed to Raja Seat - a seasonal garden of flowers and artificial fountains. You can view the beautiful mountains of Coorg from here and then return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Coorg (day 2)
Morning, after breakfast, full day free for sightseeing at Coorg. First, visit Dubare Elephant Camp, a forest camp on the banks of the River Kaveri where bathing and feeding the elephants are done. The Dubare Elephant Camp in Coorg is the perfect destination to enjoy elephant rides and bird watching. Afternoon proceeds to Talacauveri - located in the picturesque location of Brahmagiri Hills. Talacauveri is the origin of River Kaveri, a beautiful Talacauveri Temple built around it; climb Brahmagiri Peak and then visit Bhagamandala. Bhagamandala is famous for the confluence of the three sacred rivers, Kaveri, Sujyothi, and Kanike. Visit the temple dedicated to Bhagandeshwara (Lord Shiva) and get the blessings. Return to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Coorg to Bangalore Drop
Check out the hotel and proceed to Bangalore. En route, visit Kaveri Nisargadhama, wonderful picnic spot situated on the banks of River Kaveri at Kushalnagar and Srirangapatana, which was the capital of the warrior king Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan, having magnificent monuments. On arrival at Bangalore, you will be transferred to the railway station or airport. The trip ends with the delightful memories.
