About the Event
A classic retelling of a timeless tale that left people in awe of the courtesan poetess. While you may have fallen in love when you saw her sing ‘Dil Cheez Kya Hai?’ but Umrao Jaan Ada - The Musical is unlike anything you’ve seen before. With live music from Salim - Sulaiman, live singing by the performers, and a production setup that will transport you straight to the Lucknowi courts of the era of the Nawabs, it just doesn’t get more royal than this!
Experience the magic with cinematic grandeur and a lot more surprises, as you watch this re-enactment of the Urdu classic, ‘Umrao Jaan Ada'. Written by Mirza Hadi Ruswa the legendary tale is all set to come alive in a stage adaptation that will leave you spellbound.
