Brace up for this amazing one day trek to Kalavantin Durg which was initially used as a watchtower. Located right next to Prabalgad fort, this stunning ancient watchtower is situated on the old Mumbai-Pune route. Get ready to cut through lush-green thickets while you trek to Kalavantin Durg. While in the peaceful environs of this place, gather your wits for an amazing trek.

The mesmerizing scenery from this watchtower will definitely give you a memory to cherish for a lifetime. The remarkable thing of this trek is the amazing rock-cut steps that wind up their way up the mountain to take you to the top of the fort. Enthral in the panoramic view from the top, feel the thrill of an exposed climb via the stairs. Kalavantin Durg is also listed among 33 Most Beautiful Abandoned Places in one of the blogs. DAY 1 - Saturday

06:00 pm Meet bhatakna Team at Panvel Station

06:15 pm Move towards Thakurwadi (Base Village) in our transfer vehicle

07:15 pm Start trek towards Prabalmachi after a brief session

08:45 pm Reach campsite at Prabalmachi & get Refresh

09:30 pm Prepare for a night under the sky, have delicious local cuisine for dinner, let the Arijit Singh in you come out, play a few games, share stories (especially ghost stories), make new friends and enjoy the campfire.

11:30 pm Off to the tents for sound sleep (For those who are very sleepy :P).Day Ends

DAY 2 - Sunday

07:00 am Wake up call, get refreshed by a hot cup of tea and breakfast

08:00 am Move towards Kalavantin Durg, for those who would like to trek. Other can enjoy their morning at Prabalmachi

09:30 am Reach the pinnacle, bask in the majestic view from the top, take selfies with an amazing background

10:00 am Start the descend towards Prabalmachi

11:00 am Reach Prabalmachi, Campsite

11:30 hrs Start to descend towards Thakurwadi (After a mandatory group pic!!!)

12:30 hrs Reach Thakurwadi, say your goodbyes with a promise to meet again, leave for Panvel in our transfer vehicle.

This brings us to the end of our trip, Or rather just the beginning.

Things To Carry:

• Identity Proof

• Good shoes.

• Torch (Lead torch is preferable)

• A bottle of water (at least 1 Ltrs)

• Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.

•Mats, Sleeping Bags, etc.(Optional)

• Medicine those u require usually.

• Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.

Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

Trek Tip: -

The One and only, the biggest and the greatest companion on the trek is your own shoes! Please wear a nice pair of trekking shoes, avoid old shoes as they can give up at any point in time. Imagine yourself on the trek with shoe failure. Also, you can carry floaters but use it before and after the trek
