Capturing the essence of eternal Indian Classical Music and its heritage, the IMG introduced Viraasat. The event has been a witness to budding instrumentalists, dancers, and vocal renditions carrying forward the legacy of their art. This year too, the Viraasat continues with new platform and new artists! 

In Viraasat - Session 1, we are honoured to have the young Violin Maestro, Yadnesh Raikar proclaimed as "young classical superstar" by Radio Music. Yadnesh, the Son and Disciple of renowned Violinist Swarpradnya Pandit Milind Raikar, has also been trained under Ganasaraswati Kishori Amonkar and learnt Vocal from Anand Pednekar and Late Pt. Vasantrao Kadnekar. He is currently learning from his Father Pandit Milind Raikar, Pandit Arun Kashalkar and Violin Legend Vidwan Dr. L. Subramaniam.

He has been awarded the Uttung Puraskar 2015, Pt. V.D Paluskar award 2016 and in recent the prestigious Bharat Ratna Dr. MS Subhalaxami Fellowship Award 2018 at the hands of Honourable Vice President of India and Governor of Maharashtra. 

In Viraasat - Session 2, we present to you Dr Srishti Budhori. Dynamic and multitalented Dr. Srishti has been under the aegis of Bharatanatyam stalwarts GURU SRI VS RAMAMOORTHY and SMT MANJULA RAMASWAMY since the tender age of four. Having observed her natural flair for dance and innate ability to grasp the nuances of the art form, her gurus groomed her into being a full-fledged performing artist who has till this date given more than 2500 solo and group performances in India, USA and the Philippines. 

An A grade artist of Doordarshan, empanelled member of the SPICMACAY, scholarship holder of CCRT, Ministry of Culture India and recipient of various awards and record titles such as Limca book of records, World Book of records, amazing world records to name a few,

She has also authored a book ‘Nritya Maargdarshika, an insight into the World of Indian Classical Arts‘ in 2015 which has been immensely appreciated by students and rasikas.
