Haryana Steelers will look to resume their swansong from last season against Puneri Paltan. Homeboys Tamil Thalaivas will battle the warriors from Uttar Pradesh, U P Yoddha, in the second match of the day. Revenge will be on the cards after the Thalaivas’ defeat at home against the Yoddhas in VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season V.

Tamil Thalaivas: About the team
The team is out on a mission! In their debut season last year, they showed plenty of promise, especially with some high-quality performances courtesy raider Ajay Thakur. In Season VI, Tamil Thalaivas have added serious ammunition: Jasveer Singh and Manjeet Chillar will bring their experience and talent. Fans can look forward to an exciting season!
Puneri Paltan: About the team
Puneri Paltan’s story so far at Pro Kabaddi has been the most interesting one. The franchise finished at the bottom of the table in Season 1 and 2. The Paltan were almost erased from memory but the tables have turned since then. Pro Kabaddi Season 3 saw the Punekars grab 3rd place and Season 4 saw a repeat of that feat. VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season V had them reach the Eliminator but were beaten convincingly by Patna Pirates. For VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season VI, Puneri Paltan have brought together a young and aggressive squad that has the potential to take the tournament by storm. October 5th onwards, we will find out what end of the table the Paltan will end up in.
Haryana Steelers: About the team
Haryana Steelers took VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season V by storm by hustling their way into the Eliminator. The experience of raider Wazir Singh and defender Surender Nada combined with the franchise’s young guns firing at the right time, helped the Steelers’ have a memorable debut tournament. With a record-breaking move for raider Monu Goyat, the Steelers have made their intentions clear for VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season VI. The star performer of Season V will be motivated to help his new team go the distance come October 5.
UP Yoddha: About the team
For a team debuting at the tournament, U P Yoddha did well at VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season V. With the stunning performances of raider Rishank Devadiga, the Yoddhas managed to get a berth in the Eliminator. While they just missed out on progressing further, the franchise will be proud of what they achieved in their first tournament. For VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season VI, the team looks ready and how! With a few glorious additions to the squad along with the experience of Jeeva Kumar and the likes, U P Yoddha look ready to take on the new season. Will they go one better than last time or manage to go all the way? We will know from October 5th.
