Looking for meaningful ways to contribute positively and help those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic? Volunteer to reach out to NGO beneficiaries to understand their urgent needs.
In the time of a growing crisis caused by the pandemic, SARWA, ConnectFor's partner NGO is supporting economically marginalized people with grocery kits, medical kits, mask, sanitizer, sanitary pad, etc. Volunteers will help SARWA out to it's beneficiaries and understand their urgent needs for relief efforts.
How can volunteers help?:
Volunteers will reach out to SARWA's beneficiaries over a phone call, to understand their needs and document the same on the database maintained. Through it's current Covid relief efforts SARWA will then provide the urgent materials as documented by the volunteers to the identified beneficiaries.
Please note: Once you sign up, the ConnectFor team will reach out to you to brief you on further details and share guidelines to help you navigate around the volunteering experience.
Things to keep in mind:
Volunteers:
- must be fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati
- will require access to a smartphone/ laptop, a stable mobile network and a stable internet access
- access to the existing database will be provided to the volunteers
Time commitment needed by the Volunteer:
Volunteers will need to commit 5 hours per week for a minimum of one week

ConnectFor has grown in these 5 years to almost all of the major metrocities and has now over 500+ NGOs across India and have connected them with more than 24,000+ volunteers.
Established in 2006 in Ahmedabad, Shree Arbuda Residential Welfare Association (SARWA) works towards improving the economic, social and physical well-being of society, education and child psychological development. They conduct various awareness drives in schools and colleges including sessions to educate and sensitize people who don't have access to basic amenities.
