About the Event

Art acquires a new meaning in the presence of the artist. With this idea in mind, the Piramal Museum of Art - Byculla Gallery has planned an evening of art and conversation with artist Jitish Kallat. The evening will begin with a brief tour of Kallat’s art works on view at the Gallery conducted by the museum team. This will be followed by a short walk to the artist's studio where the audience can understand the various investigations and diverse processes that go into creating his deeply reflective and thought-provoking works. Interactive in nature, "Walk to the Artist's Studio" is a rare opportunity for art lovers to understand the mind of an artist. The conversation with Kallat will be led by Ashvin Rajagopalan, Director, Piramal Museum of Art.
