About the Artform

Watercolor painting is a method of painting where the pigment is dissolved in water. These paintings are also known as Aquarelle paintings in French. Using watercolors, your range expands more than any other painting method. This type of painting is extremely old, dating perhaps to the cave paintings of paleolithic Europe, and has been used for manuscript illustration since at least Egyptian times but especially in the European Middle Ages.

This 4-day extensive watercolor workshop will introduce you to the wonderful world of watercolor paintings. You will learn the very basics of the art and the techniques required to make a watercolor masterpiece. Across the 4 days, you will learn different styles of this artform and also see how to practically implement the techniques on paper. The artist will also give you tips and tricks that you can use to get better at your painting skills!

• Watercolor detailed painting
• Learn to paint realistic florals - shading, details and layers.
