About the Event
‘When Walls Dance’ is a unique production featuring a coming together of different artistic practices across different storytelling mediums to trigger important conversations about the relationship between man and nature. The performance combines Bharata Natyam, spoken word, and music against the backdrop of animation and tribal Warli art, to tell the story of a little girl named Champa, and her beloved tree.

The performance is part of G5A Warehouse Performance Grant 2024-2025.

About G5A Warehouse Performance Grant:
The G5A Warehouse Performance Grant enables independent performance artists and practitioners to showcase their work at the G5A warehouse. Taking another step towards our belief in creating a culturally vibrant society that enables dignity for all, the performance grant was born out of our commitment to nurturing creativity, excellence, and resilience with a focus on non-mainstream cultural practitioners.

There is limited seating available.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
No Late Entries will be allowed. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the program.
When attending a program at the G5A warehouse, attendees agree to be photographed/videographed/recorded for promotional use by organizers through both print and electronic media channels.
Please note that the information in the schedule is subject to change in case of unforeseen events.
We request you to bring warm clothes as it gets chilly inside the black box as temperatures need to be controlled at optimum levels as per technical requirements.
Food, beverages and water are strictly prohibited inside the black box. Please do not carry them in your bags either.
Students must present a valid college ID at the box office. If a student ID card cannot be presented, the Regular Pass price of INR 499 will apply. This category of pass is only valid for students aged 21 and below.
