Line Up
1. The Choice
Dir Sajjad Delafrooz
This is based on the concept of some Arab family dynamics in the current times. It depicts the need and attention sought out by one spouse then another but at completely different times in the stages of their relationship. It clearly resins the message of "eye for an eye makes the whole world blind".
The distraction of modern day pleasantries and the availability of options outside the unity is depicted in stop motion technique - that is also very rarely seen in Arabic filmmaking.
2. Thoughts
Dir Chanda Gauranga
This satire is set in a not too far off future, where people no longer share phone numbers, but frequencies to communicate telepathically.
3. Morning Majnu
Dir Vivek Mushran
Ever had a fantasy about a hot maid? What are the thoughts that run through your head when you see her bending over. What would happen if she gets to knows those thoughts in your head.
How would she react. More importantly, how would you react.
4. The Clock
Dir Krishan Hooda
'The clock' - is about a couple and their relationship round the clock. This film portrays the complexities of human behaviour and convenience.
With one static visual, the clock depicts a day's routine in a couple's life.
5. Storm in a Teacup
Dir Shreyas GT
The film is about a newly-married couple's drama-filled argument which starts with an innocuous request of making tea. The tea-making process acts as a window to the wife's changing forms of anger which morphs from the silent treatment, passive aggression, simmering anger to the eventual fit of fury.
6. Photograph
Dir Emeara
The film is about a newly-married couple's drama-filled argument which starts with an innocuous request of making tea. The tea-making process acts as a window to the wife's changing forms of anger which morphs from the silent treatment, passive aggression, simmering anger to the eventual fit of fury.
7. Metaphor
Dir Gilroy Rodrigues
Metaphor is about a man who thinks that this world is not perfect and something is missing.
8. Sheher Ya Tum
Dir Karan Asnani
A poet has been trying to make an important life decision since the last two months. He has to choose between the city that has given him everything and the love of his life
9. Local Story
Dir Shraddha Sawant
It depicts the incidents occurring on the station platform which unknowingly affect our lives. Or maybe not. Each journey teaches a lesson to man. The people we meet or the incidents that occur en route have us thinking out our life.
10. Little Hands
Dir Rohin Raveendran
Little Hands tells the story of Jobin George, a sixth grader, as he sits through a difficult mathematics examination. With hostile classmates all around, their pencils in motion and a strict teacher on the prowl Jobin loses hope. This examination forces Jobin to answer several difficult questions, some of mathematics and some other.
