'Om Mani Padme Hum’
Sip some garam butter-chai and slip into the comfort cloak of Tibetan peace! Travel to the ‘little Lhasa of India’, Mcleod Ganj and witness the Himalayan spring in full bloom. Do some monk-spotting and share life’s philosophies with them. Trek to hidden hilly hamlets and explore the foothills through thick forests of oak, rhododendron and cedar trees. Discover hill-brooks and drink in the calm as you do a picnic lunch by its bank!
Tickle your adventure bone and join us for cycling in the mountains. Pedal from McLeod to Bir - Billing! (No uphill pumping for sure) At every bend, get mesmerised by the gorgeous peaks adorning the horizon. Rub off the city soot and train your eyes to spot endangered Himalayan birds, chirping away to welcome the new visitors. Switch to a different travel mode to come down from Billing to Bir. Invade the sky on a paraglide and see the earth from a bird’s eye view as you swoop down.
Discover a new path to nirvana as you trek, cycle and glide through the valley! Cleanse your soul and reboot in nature on our 5D 4N Mcleod Gunj – Bir – Billing trip and rejuvenate to meet the city grit back.

Yes! McLeod Ganj is well connected by flight and road. Some options which you can look into are-
You can take a direct flight to Dharamshala and take a cab from there to Mcleod Ganj.
You can take a flight/train/bus to Chandigarh and board an overnight bus to Mcleod Ganj.
You can take a flight/train/bus to Delhi and board an overnight bus to Mcleod Ganj.
You can take a flight/train/bus to Delhi and board a train to Pathankot, from there you take a cab/bus to Mcleod Ganj.
Where will I be staying?
White Collar Hippie believes in supporting the locals and sharing experiences with them. You will be staying in different home-stays or places which have the vibe of home stays and camps throughout the journey.
All accommodations will be on a double occupancy basis.
Will all of my meals be a part of the package?
All meals except one lunch and one dinner will be a part of the package. Food, beverage and dining are an important part of any place you visit, so go out there to experience the local food and culture!
What is the difficulty level of cycling?
The cycling route is through the main Mcleod-Bir road, it has beautiful views and cuts through the forest of different types. The route is approx. 60 kms. The estimated cycle time would be about 4.5 hours. About 40% of the route is level without incline, 25% is uphill and the remaining 35% is downhill.
We will be using professional mountain bikes manufactured by brands like Firefox. A safety jeep will accompany us this cycle ride. So in case you want to opt out, you can always hop into the safety vehicle. Also there will be no rides without a helmet.
What about the return journey?
The journey ends in Mcleod Ganj by 11 am on day 5. You can plan your return journey from Mcleod Ganj to your destination or you can even extend your stay by a day or two if you want to
How many people will be on the trip?

How will the Paragliding experience be like?
Paragliding is fun and even though flying solo is the best if you aren’t an experienced flier, landings might hurt! Hence Paragliding with us will be a tandem ride where a pro instructor shall accompany you while you soar about the clouds.
Do I need to be physically fit to undertake this trip?
Well not really, unless you huff and puff and pass out from exertion after a 15 minute walk! :P
