Surrounded by lush green forests and fields, the trekking route towards Maharashtra's Highest Peak is a surreal experience for all nature lovers and trek enthusiasts. Challenging yet fun-filled, trek towards the highest summit will test your patience and offer an amazing panoramic view of several more mountain ranges like Alang, Madangad, Kulang, Ratangad (southwest) and to the south Pabhargad, Ghanchakkar & Harishchandragad.

Also, attempting to climb the most wish-listed mountain in the Sahyadri offers a great sense of achievement for most of the trekking enthusiasts More about the climbing patches and Summit (Kalsubai Shikhar) Nestled among several slopes, Kalsubai is a mix of easy to ascend slopes as well as rocky patches overlooking the valley below. To reach the Summit, Govt. has built many iron ladders along the vertical hill slopes.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1 (Saturday)

Meeting point: Kasara station ticket counter (12:30 pm)

10:00 AM: Board the 10:16 am Kasara Local Fast Train from CST & Meet the LiveB4YouDie team at the Kasara station ticket counter by 12:30 pm.

12:45 PM: We board privately booked vehicles and head Dhaba for Lunch Break after Quick we move to Bari, where we will be commencing our trek. It'll take approximately 2 hours to reach the village.

04:00 PM: We reach Bari, from where you can get a glimpse of Kalsubai peak rest for a while & Get Evening Refreshment and get ready to start the trek.

05:00 PM: Gear up, pack your bags and get your Shoes lace-up! It's gonna be a long and dark climb to the top. We will make a few halts on the way where you can grab your snack or a drink.

08:00 PM: Reach Campsite on the top of Everest of Maharashtra & get Refresh.

09:00 PM: Prepare for a night under the sky have Delicious Local cuisine for Dinner, let the Arijit Singh in you come out, play few games, share stories ( especially ghost stories), make new friends & enjoy the Bonfire Nights. 

11:30 PM: Off to the tents for sound sleep( for those who are very sleepy.

Day 2 (Sunday)

05:30 AM: Wake Up Wake Up its a wonderful day 

06:15 AM: We reach the Kalsubai temple its time for the Beautiful sunrise. You will get an Amazing view of Bhandardara Arthur lake from the summit.

06:45 AM: We start our descent. Finally, you get a view of the surroundings you climbed & Camp through in the night.

07:00 AM: Grab a quick breakfast on the mountain and start the descent.

11:00 AM: We reach back down at the base village.

11:30 AM: Time to head back to Kasara station.

04:00 PM: Adios! Back to the mundane city life. Until Next Time Bhatakna!

Things to Carry:

01. Identity Proof

02. Bottle of Water (at least 2 liters)

03. Ready to eat food like plum cakes, dry fruits, etc.

04. Torch with Extra pair of Batteries. 

05. Blanket / Sleeping Bag (Extreme Level Cold Weather at Night).

06. Jackets and woolens as it would get cold in the night and morning.

07. Cap, Camera

08. Good Trekking shoes

09. Personal care stuff, ORS, medicines which you require usually

10. A haversack to put all the things in, please do not carry sling bags or jholas 

11. Extra Pair of Clothes (as a backup if you need a change after the trek is over)

12. Camera (Optional)

Exclusions:

1. Lunch for Day 1 and Day 2

NOTE: 

1. Strictly No Alcohol or Smoking Allowed.

2. Its Extreme Cold weather at night at the Campsite. Carry a good Blanket or Sleeping BAG.

3. Washroom & Changing Facilities you can't get on top of the mountain you can use it in the base village 

Disclaimer:

All the participants whether traveling by local train/bus or private vehicle must reach the meeting point at the given time. The organizers will wait for you at the meeting point for not more than 15 mins. Post which the organizers may go out of network range and will not be able to assist you to the base camp. In such a situation the organizers shall not be liable for any inconvenience what so ever and the participants will be considered as "no show" for which no refund will be given. 

In any case, the leader's decision will be final and no arguments or objections from the participants will be entertained. 

During the event, if any participant does not follow safety instructions and indulges in acts that lead to physical harm, 

the organizers will not be held liable for it. If the weather conditions are unfavorable or that the time of a natural calamity on or before the trek, the event will be canceled, and no refund will be given in this case. Stay options mentioned in the itinerary are subject to availability and natural conditions i.e. tents cant be pitched if it rains and/or rainstorm is being predicted. In such cases, an attempt will be made to provide shelter for the night. Food during the trekking and camping events will be basic as it will be sourced locally from villages and will be cooked by villagers. 

The Tickets can be canceled 7 days prior to the event and 90% amount will be refunded. Any refund in terms of miscounting in no. of bookings can be requested before 48hrs of the event. No refund will be processed once the event gets over. All participants are deemed to be physically fit for the event. In case a participant decides to drop out during the event he/she has to bear the extra cost of arranging his/her return. This cost will be charged at-actual-basis. The participant is responsible for his own valuables as there are no luggage safety lockers in any of the base camps. Participation will be at 

your own risk and the organizers will not be held responsible for any accidents, loss of life or valuables.
