After successful editions in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata and Ahmedabad for the past three years, we are delighted to announce that the SheThePeople.TV Women Writers Fest comes to Lucknow in 2019 for its very first edition in Lucknow on November 10th, at the prestigious Habibullah Estate, Hazratganj.

The focus of the festival will be Lucknow: The Culture, The History, and the women who made the city.

The fest will provide a forum for women writers from varied fields to come together and discuss issues that are important to the cultural and social fabric of Lucknow.  The diverse range of participants in each panel will make for rich discussions on the city’s cultural heritage, the influence on the writing of both fiction and non-fiction, the feminine voice in fiction, spoken word performances and more, and is sure to inspire change. 

Confirmed speakers so far include Madhavi Kukreja, Shaili Chopra, Mehru Jaffer, Kirti Narain, Aditi Maheshwari Goyal, Jyotsna Kaur Habibullah, Sachinanand Singh, Kena Shree, Runjhun Noopur, Kiran Manral and more.
