Saby Singh
Saby Singh is a singer-songwriter from Kashmir. He derives his roots from Hindustan Shastriya Sangeet and blends it with his neo-blues, alt-rock and indie-pop influences. With major commitment to melodies, he writes in Urdu. Saby plays a dynamic set where he is known to deliver super improvized versions of his own songs. His recently released single 'ASMA,' an Urdu word for longing is being widely praised for its intimate vibe and poignancy.
Samar Mehdi
Samar Mehdi is a percussive finger-style guitarist and singer-songwriter from Bhopal. From a very young age, Samar broke his family’s institutional pattern and had his heart set on music quite stubbornly. Eventually, he found his way to the guitar and that brought forth a new purpose to his songwriting. A few coincidences and accidents led him to the world of percussive fingerstyle. What captured his attention about percussive fingerstyle was not the flashy skill show, but an opportunity to write and perform multi-layered songs organically despite being a solo act.
He released his debut EP 'Urooj' in April which received a rave response and appreciation for its underlying wisdom and honesty.
