About Workshop:

Workshop includes physical and practical learning of primitive steps of Tenkutittu & Badagutittu. These helps learners to understand what the form is & difference between these two styles of Yakshagana.

About Yakshagana:

Yakshagana is a 400 years old folk theatrical dance form. It is a unique harmony of music, costumes, dance styles, gestures, acting and extemporaneous dialogues. It is a vibrant and vigorous living form of folk theatre art. In Yakshagana, every section like music, make-up, costumes and story telling has its own discipline of studies. Hence, Yakshagana is a master art form with many creative arts put together.

About NrityaFolk:

NrityaFolk is an folk dance initiative by Abstratics Creative Dance Company in association with The Kha Foundation. This intensive offers a unique learning experience of different folk & tribal forms of India with renowned artists of respective forms.
