Ziro Festival of Music is referred to as India's Greatest Outdoor Music Festival for a reason.
In spite of primarily being a music festival, it's about much more than that. It's not as loud as a generic music festival but a nice balance of music and serenity. A valley that turns yellow at that time welcomes 1000s of global travellers yet sets a whole new standard of eco-friendliness.
40+bands perform rock, hip-hop, blues, country, acoustic, regional, folk, indie and more wide genre of music tirelessly at day stage and night stage for 4 days.

Yes we will need inner line permits to travel to Ziro. We will manage these for those who opt for transport included package. For those who opt for other packages can get there ILPs done here.
Will we get vegetarian food during our stay at Ziro?
Diet of North Eastern states is predominantly Non Vegetarian. If you are into meat, Northeast India is a culinary paradise for you. You’ll be fascinated by the different methods used to cook meat by different tribes and it’s going to be so much fun for you.
However we are setting up a state of art kitchen in our campsite at Ziro. We will be cooking different cuisines from around the country everyday both Veg and Non Veg. If you’ve booked meal inclusive package with us, you are in for a culinary treat at Ziro even if you are a strict vegetarian. Also if you are allergic to anything, do let us know in advance.
Are there going to be nice toilet facility?
We have built seperate toilets and bathing area for men and women. These bathrooms are made with very interesting bamboo architecture. There are only indian ceremic commods and no western commods because you wouldnt want to touch anything when several people are using the same bathroom. We will have a dedicated team for bathroom management and it will be cleaned and sanitised multiple times a day. The ratio of bathrooms to numper of people will be close to 1:15.
Rest assured, you’ll have satisfactory pooping sessions.
How is the weather going to be like?
Weather gods have been really unpredictable lately. It can be sunny and we can definitely expect some rains. If it gets sunny, youd probably want to get rid of all clothes. So a hat and a sunscreen is strongly recommended. If it rains, the whole of Ziro can get really muddy. Gumboots becomes absolutely necessary for easy movement. Nights can get little cold so 2 layers of clothing is recommended. Our cozy sleeping bags have got you covered.
So in short, DO NOT FORGET to carry, Gumboots, Sunscreen, Hat, Raincoats (top to bottom) and lots of chocolates for us.
