Brace yourselves for absolute mayhem as Pune thrashers ‘Kill the King’ and Hyderabad Death metallers ‘Septic Isle’ embark on their ‘Reign & Rot’ India tour! Catch them live on the Pune leg of the tour on 1st June ‘24 at Antisocial, FC Road. Supporting them are Mumbai based Death metal band Oblitera and Pune based groove metal band Tryst, who will be playing their Debut show.

Kill the King

Formed in January 2021, Kill the King is a byproduct of two guys (Aditya and Rishikesh) wanting to speak on the harsh realities of our contemporary Indian society. Kill The King’s self-titled full-length demonstrates the entire premise that the band revolves around (from the lyrics to the moniker): to stand up against any form of injustice or oppression. The “king” in KTK depicts oppressive forces in society. Lyrically, the songs on the album give voice to victims of oppression and those who fight back. 

In a short span of 3 years, Kill the King has been able to make a notable impact on the Indian metal scene, playing multiple shows across the country and embarking on their first ever tour alongside Septic Isle.

Septic Isle

Septic Isle is a brutal death/slam infused death metal band straight Outta Hyderabad. The band is themed around the dark and daemon-infested future of the 41st millennium in the Warhammer 40k universe. They will be releasing their debut EP later this year.

Oblitera

Oblitera is a biologically dark, spiritual and psychological force of Death Metal hailing from Mumbai. 

They stand as a testament to the raw power and emotional depth of the metaphysical mind that can be achieved within the realms of heavy music.  

Oblitera delves into the darkest recesses of the psyche and ontological horrors of life experiences through our evocative lyrics and dark reverberating sounds. The band explores the twisted and enigmatic aspects of the human mind, immersing our listeners in a realm of psychological torment and introspection.

Tryst

Tryst is a 4 piece Experimental Metal band formed in January, 2024 which draws inspiration from Hardcore and Groove metal. Tryst delivers a chugging to the masses by staying raw to the roots yet modern with the goal of bringing back the roaring 90's and 00's. Getcha Pull!
