Story of two burning man(dom) who burn the corps at a crematorium at a marginal part of Bengal and live a very marginal life get a  woman suddenly. She came, she lived, They compited, they fought and she left, leaving them with their eternal struggle for existence.

Our civilisation has moved forward with times. It has become broader in many aspects. 

Though we are much more vocal about equality and same-rights but the place of a woman in 

the society hasn’t changed from the core. Since ages it remained the same in basics. “Trikal” 

says that only. 

Gabriel García Márquez, the father of magic-realism as we consider, is timeless and universal 

too so when the idea came to us we thought of adapting a short story by him. 

Since the remembered history women have been used, dominated or kept for expediting the 

lust of the patriarchal society. Sometimes extorting the religious customs sometimes by other 

means and sometimes directly. They have been raped. What ends the rape? Even the hanging 

of the rapists or the death of a raped could end it? What if it produces a new life in due 

course? Who will father the child? Trikal questions & tries to find the answers. 

And “Trikal” says who takes over the unwanted new born, has no gender. He or she could be 

a man or a woman but he or she will be called the ‘father’ breaking the gender boundaries.
