About the Workshop:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) has, over the past decade made waves  across almost all industries. The impact AI and ML have had has evolved our global economy  and had both a positive and negative impact on the world today. The session will focus on the changing job climate and how students can best prepare themselves for the coming technological shifts from a global  perspective by analysing the breakdown of the impact AI and ML have had  across a wide range of industries and how an international education helps assist the students maneuver the ever-changing, fast-paced evolution of technology.  

About Arjun:

Arjun’s life has straddled the UK and India and that makes him the perfect person to guide students who are considering further studies abroad.

Born in the UK, Arjun lived in Darlington, England for the first 10 years of his life before heading to India for his schooling at the Doon School in Dehradun. He then went back to the UK for his undergraduate degree at Nottingham Business School and has been travelling between the two countries ever since.

Before starting at In-country in 2019, Arjun led an India based outreach for the University of Exeter for two years and prior to that, had titles ranging from ‘entrepreneur’ to ‘canoe instructor’! At In-country, Arjun handles special projects, student mobility partnerships between Indian and UK universities and consults for universities all over the world on strategy and development in Asia. His specialist area is Business Management and Finance but Arjun is a keen observer of current affairs, politics, international relations and technology.
