Leh, originally a stop for trading caravans, is now known for its Buddhist sites, scenic landscape and nearby trekking trail and is now on every traveller's wishlist. A journey through ever-changing landscapes. A journey which makes you feel as if you are living in a canvas. Initial journey through the tree line from Manali, then changing to narrow lanes of Snow and dry landscape, deserts of Nubra Valley. This is not a trip this is a journey, a journey which has several stories, several tales.

Joining you on this journey will be our female trip leader who has travelled Pan India and has so many stories to share. Embark on this journey to hear her tales, create few of your own and a lot together.

Itinerary:

Day 0 : DELHI TO MANALI

For guests opting for Delhi to Delhi package. We take overnight Volvo in the evening around 7 PM from Delhi, Majnu Ka Tila to Manali.

Day 1 : MANALI ARRIVAL AND GROUP INTRODUCTION

We reach Manali early in the morning and check in to the hotel. After the initial room allocation by the trip leader, we meet for a group introduction and a brief of the trip plan.

Today is an acclimatization day as we start our journey to the Himalayas from tomorrow. The guests are free to explore the town of Manali but are advised to not exert themselves too much. Hadimba Temple, Local market, cafe hopping in Old Manali are few of the things that you can explore in Manali.

Overnight stay in Manali. 

Day 2: MANALI TO JISPA (138 KMS, 7 HRS OF DRIVE)

After an early breakfast, we start our journey towards the mighty Himalayas. After crossing Madi, we reach Rohtang pass in about 2 hrs from Manali. You may like to stop at Rohtang for a click, but believe us there are a plethora of ineffable beautiful landscapes on your way ahead, continue your journey for Jispa after crossing Keylong.

Reach Jispa by afternoon/evening, which is our destination for today. 

After freshen up, gather for a tea/ coffee, followed by Bonfire and Dinner.

Night stay at Jispa.

Day 3: JISPA TO LEH (330 KMS ,9 HRS DRIVE)

Start early Morning after Breakfast, to stamp on the grounds of Heaven on Earth known as Leh. Enroute you will come across beautiful landscapes of Baralancha-la, Tanglangla, Moore Planes & Upshi, the route most loved by the Shutterbug community.

If you are sleeping while travelling on this route means you are missing the most precious times of your life. (This is the longest route on the journey, you are suggested to start early and reach by evening)

Day 4: LEH SIGHTSEEING

A very Good Morning ! Today is our first morning in Leh. A place about which you definitely have heard a lot and always dreamt about. Leh it is! Dream come True. No matter where you are in Leh, you will always see a series of snow-capped peaks. Those are the Stok Ranges and the highest in them is the Stok Kangri Peak. 

We gather at the Breakfast table and, later start for the Leh sightseeing tour. We start our tour by visiting Shey Palace, followed by Thiksey Monastery. Later move towards the confluence of Indus and Zanskar via Magnetic Hill and Pathar Sahab Gurudwara. If time permits, you can also have Langar at the Gurudwara itself. 

Hall of fame & Shanti Stupa later in the evening. Don’t exert your body, if you are feeling tired at any time during the day.

Return to Hotel. Overnight at Leh.

Day 5: LEH TO NUBRA (162 KMS, 6 HRS OF DRIVE)

After Breakfast, we travel towards one of the Highest Motorable Road of The World, KhardungLa Pass. Have a cup of Tea there, get yourself clicked with the Khardungla Signboard by BRO & proceed towards Nubra valley covering Deskit Monastery enroute.

Check-in at Hotel/Camp, freshen up & later you can have a Double Hump Bactarian Camel ride. Don't forget to click this unique mammal, found in the cold Desert. It was once used to carry the trade material on the silk route.

Overnight at Hunter/Nubra Camps/Hotel.

Day 6 : NUBRA TO PANGONG (250 KMS)

After Breakfast, check out from the camps & visit Diskit Monastery. If time permits you can also go for ATV ride (personal expense) and then continue further till Pangong via Shyok Valley

Pangong Lake is one of the most beautiful & scenic high altitude saltwater lakes. The beauty of this place is such that various Bollywood movies have been shot around this lake. Another fact about the lake is that one-third of this lake is controlled by India & rest two-third lies under Chinese province. Check In to the campsite and later go for a stroll around Pangong Lake in the evening.

Day 7: PANGONG TO TSOMORIRI (225 KMS, 7 HRS OF DRIVE)

After Breakfast, check out from the camps at Pangong & proceed for Tso Moriri Lake. Tso Moriri is another high altitude lake in the Ladakh region and comes under Tso Moriri wetland sanctuary

Mighty mountains, snow-capped peaks, lush green fields and the deep blue water stretching to the horizon, Tso Moriri offers it all.

Overnight stay at Guesthouse in Tso-Moriri.

Day 8 TSO- MORIRI TO SARCHU (260 KMS, 8 HRS OF DRIVE)

After Breakfast at Hotel, we start our journey by 8:00 am, to reach Sarchu in due time. Enroute we will be crossing across Upshi, Tanglangla, Moore Plains and will finally arrive at Sarchu.

We will be travelling through the same route which we took on Day 3 while travelling from Jispa to Leh, so you will have more time to click pictures. Reach Sarchu by evening

Overnight stay at Sarchu.

Day 9: SARCHU TO MANALI (230 KMS , 7 HRS OF DRIVE)

After early Breakfast, start your journey to Manali via Keylong, (the administrative centre of Lahaul & Spiti district) & snow bedded Rohtang La .

Arrival at Manali by 4 pm, tentatively.

For guests opting for Delhi to Delhi package, we will be boarding the return Volvo to Delhi by 5:30 pm.
