The idea itself of entering a forest so dark where even light can't penetrate will give one goosebumps, Hence to describe the experience in words won't be fair.It’s better that you experience it yourself. The dark forest trek with numerous small stream crossings and waterfall is majorly a descending trek.It begins at an elevation of approximately 2,160 feet and descends down into the valley, to reach the Bhira Dam.

Detailed Itinerary:

05:15 AM : Departure from Shivaji Nagar, Opposite to All India Radio Pune.

05:30 AM : Departure from Wakad

08:00 AM : Breakfast & Freshenup at Pimpri

09:00 AM : Short breifing & Commencement of the trek

12:30 PM : Snacks

03:30 PM : Reach bhira dam & Have lunch

05:00 PM : Start Return Journey

08:00 PM : Reach Pune Tentatively

Inclusions:

Transportation by bus from Pune to Pune

Certified Mountaineer Expertise.

How to be adventure-ready:

Brisk walks for 2-3 days prior to the trek.

Don't consume alcohol or any other drug the night before the trek.

Carry 2-3 liters of water for the trek & stay hydrated.

Carry light snacks for the trek.

Take out your trek pants, trekking/sports shoes(Mandatory).

Raincoat/ Poncho.

Avoid wearing shorts, or be ready for insect bites.

Carry your personal medication if any.

A water proof cover for you mobile.

Extra Pair of Clothes.

Flip flops for your return journey as your shoes will get wet.

Age Limit: 10+ and below 16 years to be accompanied with parents.

Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited on trek.

Littering during the trek is prohibited.

Do not carry valuable things like jewelry or any other things.

The sponsors/performers/organizers are not responsible for any injury or damage occurring due to the event.

In case of changes/cancellation of the event before departure we will refund “trek amount” only

In case of changes/cancellation of the event after departure:

When the change or cancellation arise from circumstances amounting to “force majeure” or for any other reason beyond our control Unhike shall not be liable to refund the amount already deposited. We will, wherever possible, make suitable alternative arrangements
