About Neem Karoli Temple

The ashram is a sacred space for meditation, devotional singing and satsang or spiritual discourse among aspirants. All members of the ashram community contribute to the sacredness of this place which is a haven of peace and spiritual inspiration for hundreds of visitors and guests each year. We practice bhakti yoga-chanting and devotional practices, and karma yoga seva - selfless service to God and creation.

About Mahavatar Babaji Cave

To understand the historical Significance of the cave, it is suggested that devotees read Chapter 34 “Materialising a Palace in the Himalayas” from the Autobiography of a Yogi, and “A Blessing from Mahavatar Babaji” from Only Love by Sri Sri Daya Mata.

Babaji’s Cave area is the place where Babaji initiated Lahiri Mahasaya in 1861 and is the birth of Kriya Yoga in this Dwapara Yuga. All the Kriyabans in the world can trace their lineage to this event. (2011 — The 150th Anniversary of Kriya Yoga)

The mountain path to the cave has been renovated. The climb to the cave takes about one hour for the average person. During the rains there are a few streams along the way which feed the Gogash River mentioned in Autobiography of a Yogi.

26 April:

• Reach New Delhi Railway station to begin the meditative journey from New Delhi to Kathgodam station
• Journey onwards to Vanprastha Resort, pausing for reflection at Neem Karori Temple along the way
• Arrive at the resort in time for a serene evening & dinner.

27 April:

• Delve into your inner world with a nourishing breakfast followed by a trek to Babaji's cave
• Engage in meditative practices within the cave and embrace the transformative energy.
• Share in a reflective meditation session during the trek back to the resort
• Recharge with a wholesome lunch and leisure time, followed by an evening of kirtan and communal meditation.

28 April:

• Begin your day with a nourishing breakfast before embarking on another meditative trek to Babaji's cave.
• Immerse yourself in deep reflection & connection during your time within the cave.
• Share insights and experiences during a reflective session on the return journey.
• Enjoy a leisurely lunch and personal guidance through cards, followed by an evening of meditation & satsang

29 April:

• Conclude your journey with a final breakfast at the resort before departing for Kathgodam station
• Carry the transformative energy of the journey with you as you journey back to New Delhi by train
