A new bunch of Indian musicians are bursting out of college canteens and campuses with some of the most original music you haven't heard... yet.
ATKT.in only works with the most outstanding talent, so they guarantee you 'Toppers' - you know, just like JEE classes.
This inaugural edition of Chart Toppers features Hindi and English music from some of 2017's best new singer-songwriters, rappers, electronica artists, and classical musicians from Mumbai's colleges. Indie rock favorites Blek share some support and magic too, with an unreleased bonus track.
Rizvi College
Siegen Moopanar aka The Siege is an extremely talented 19 year old, bilingual rapper, rapping in both - Hindi and English. His career took off in 2015 & he has worked on 9 solo tracks and a music video ever since.
One of his most prominent works is called, Kalam. He has been performing Live for a few years now & has collaborated with artists from Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chandigarh.

Manthan Rane
NMF College
Manthan Rane is an 18 year old student from NMF College whose music producing career began when he was 13 years old. Manthan or as he is popularly known – Kaala, has been producing some killer music for the past 5 years. His goal is to give his music a unique style & create a brand that resonates with his personality.

Kanishk Seth
Jai Hind College
Kanishk Seth, a prodigious young music producer, started taking sound engineering lessons at the age of 14. His first album "Trance with Khusrow" was nominated alongside names like A.R. Rahman, Ram Sampath and Indian Ocean in the Best Fusion Album Category at the GIMA and Mirchi Music Awards.
He has composed and produced music for ad jingles for various renowned brands. Apart from working on short films and ads, Kanishk has performed at various venues and festivals like FTII, Enchanted Valley Carnival '15, Swadeshi Indie Festival, IIT Bombay's Mood Indigo etc.

Madhav Khanna
NMIMS
Madhav Khanna, is a 20 year old singer-songwriter, originally from Delhi and a Mumbaikar for the past two years. Without ever receiving a formal training, Madhav has managed to create an impressive fan base for himself with a pure display of talent.
His guitar playing skills are as impressive as his vocals which again he learned on his own. He wrote his first song in October 2012. Since then, he has been actively performing live at schools, college fests and other events.

Gandhar Shembekar
LS Raheja
Gandhar or ‘GSUS’ as he is popularly known, started playing the guitar three years ago when he was just 16. While he learned to play the guitar and beatboxing on his own, it was his father who taught him singing. He has recently started venturing into writing original songs as well.
He plays around with different genres like Pop, Alternative Rock, Funk, Rock and has performed at a lot of high profile clubs and other events in the city.

Sai
Thakur College
Sai is a powerhouse of talent with rapping, singing, lyrics and songwriting under his wings. At just 19, he finds himself closer than ever to his dreams & he’s been working incessantly for 6 years to make that happen.
He has been actively participating in gigs, battles, cyphers, jams, and collaborations. He has also done a number of battles, for battle rap leagues such as Battle Bars Bombay and Spit Dop.

Neerad Sumeet
Jai Hind College
Neerad is currently a third-year student at Jai Hind & is a phenomenal pianist. His music is highly influenced by Hans Zimmer, Steven Wilson & has been playing blues & western classical for the past 6 years.
He has also recently joined a Blues Rock band called, 'TWEAKD' and is working on various collaborations with other campus talents. He regularly performs at college fests like Malhar, Umang, Mood Indigo & crowd-pulling venues like Antisocial, Habitat cafe, White owl, NSCI & Cat Cafe.

Saket Mittal
Jai Hind College
19 years old, Saket, is a percussionist with an affinity towards Indian classical music. He has been playing the tabla for the last 9 years and if that wasn’t enough he also plays percussion instruments like cajon, darbuka, djembe & congo. Saket has been felicitated at various National Level events.
His latest achievement being at "The 12th Global Harmony" held at Pune, Maharashtra in May 2016 where he secured the 2nd place in the Solo Senior Category (Table). He also stood first at the "11th Global Harmony" held in May 2015, under the Duet Senior Category (Tabla). These are just two of the many achievements Saket has earned during his journey so far.

Raunak Sharma
Jai Hind College
Raunak Sharma is a 19-year-old studying at Jai Hind College. His talents excel as a guitarist and a composer. He primarily plays rock owing to some major influence from Green Day, Radiohead and Steven Wilson.
His performances also include Pop and Bollywood music. He has also performed at Cuckoo Club, Anti-Social, IIM Indore, ITC Maratha and various other college & corporate events.
Parshva Jain
HR College
Parshva Jai is originally from Chhattisgarh. He is 19 years old & has been playing Sitar for the last 8 years now and has learnt under the guidance of Mr.Sudhir Pandit. Sudhir Sudhir belongs to the Imdad Khan Gharana & was inspired when he saw his mother playing sitar.
Amongst other achievements, he also represented Chhattisgarh at the 18th All India Youth Festival in Ludhiana after being announced as the Best Sitar player at the City & State Level. Parshva is currently a student at H.R College and has won at various festivals such as Malhar and Waves.

Gaurav Gambhir
Dalmia College
Gaurav’s last name may be Gambhir but he is one of the most chill beat-boxers in town. Gaurav, who goes by the name D-cypher started beat-boxing in the year 2012 & now, at 24 has won numerous college festivals in Mumbai and has performed opening acts for some stellar musicians.
He was also a part of the first ever Indian Beat-box championship which took place in Nagaland last year. D-Cypher was ranked at Top 16 out of the 32 mind-blowing Beat-boxers from India. He aspires to represent the country at a Global level with his talent & to collaborate with musicians from around the world.

Devashri Manohar
Jai Hind College
Devashri is a brilliant classical singer & has received professional training for Hindustani classical music under the guidance of under Ankita Joshi for over 10 years. She has performed at various illustrious events like EVC (Enchanted Valley Carnival), Radio Mirchi Sufi Music Festival & NCPA festival.
Devashri also holds an interest in other genres such as Jazz and Pop. She also currently performs with Neerad Sumeet in a band called, ‘Fairy&Jazz’.
