Authenticook in collaboration with Neel - Tote on the Turf is bringing to you authentic Parsi flavours this Navroze.
Authenticook Home-chef Rashna along with the chefs at Neel will be curating a menu that celebrates the Parsi culture.
Authenticook home-chef Rashna is a qualified Commercial artist from the illustrious J.J. School of Arts. She is now retired and indulges in her interest of feeding folks authentic Parsi food. She has that rare ability to laugh at her own stories. Her hobbies include painting and drawing, knitting, crocheting and sewing. She is passionate about Piano and Orchestral music and is an aspiring ballroom dancer as well. She is known in the community for her awesome pickles and masalas. Ask her a question about Parsi cuisine and she will tell you stories about how life used to be back in the old days. She will tell you about how the cooks used to be from the towns of Bordi and Dahanu and what one meant when they said authentic Parsi food! She laces her sentences with, "this is what we bawa people like to eat" and is a stickler for authenticity.
The event will be held in the beautiful setting of Neel, nestled in the grand Mahalaxmi Racecourse. On arrival, the ever gracious staff at Neel will guide you to your seats. What will follow is a journey through the Parsi culture. The meal will be served course-wise to ensure that you are able to focus and appreciate each dish in its entirety.
