Western Ghats are calling and so here we are returning to the adventure of a rail route to Paradise - the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, the most pristine part of Western Ghat mountain ranges and often called as trekker’s favourite waterfall trek.

And if that is not enough we are adding Goa to it ;)

Yes, one night stay in Old Goa at the GTDC Heritage View Residency .

We take special care of safety & the right preparations for all our trips, and on this trek we will be getting permissions to trek in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary plus certified guides will be leading us to the base of the waterfall & life jackets will be provided to cross the deeper parts of streams. With adventures also comes safety and we don't spare any expenses on yours :)

The magnificent Dudhsagar Waterfall is perched in the high peaks of the Western Ghats and is a sight to behold especially in the monsoons when it is in full and furious flow. From a distance, the waterfall appears like streams of milk rushing down the mountainside.

Measuring a mighty 600m from head to foot, this waterfall on the Goa-Karnataka border, attracts a steady stream of visitors from the coast into the rugged Western Ghats. After pouring across the Deccan plateau, the headwaters of the Mandovi River form a foaming torrent that splits into three streams to cascade down a near-vertical cliff face into a deep green pool.

We have customised the trip to completely enjoy the wilderness filled surrounding and a short rail route hike to take us to the mighty Dudhsagar waterfalls. In order to spend maximum time at Dudhsagar without any inconvenience we have arranged a bus from Pune to Goa and back. Details given below:

Friday Aug 23rd 2019

Pick up location: Blue Nile restaurant (Pune Camp)

Time: 8:00pm- 8:40pm Exit Pune.

Overnight journey

Saturday Aug 24th 2019 (morning)

Breakfast en-route before reaching Kulem

Reach Kulem Railway station and prepare for a jungle hike to Dudhsagar waterfalls, approximate distance is 7 km.

Return to Kulem and proceed towards Old Goa residency where we will have our stay for the night.

Reach lodge - refresh and prepare for dinner.

Sunday Aug 25th (morning)

8:30 am Breakfast and leave for Pune

Stop for Lunch on the way

Return back to Pune on Sunday Aug 25th by 9:00 pm

We will be walking in jungle paths and we request everyone to maintain strict discipline and do not break any government rules. Endearing an adventure activity such as visiting Dudhsagar waterfall area in monsoon will require us to be self supervised and avoid entering any slippery patches, risky rapids or forceful streams.

Any one found under the influence of drugs or narcotics will be requested to leave the trip immediately, without any refund.

Adventure camping and outdoor sports/ recreation is purely for nature lovers and not for party groups; we respect nature and do our best to spread the awareness about wilderness preservation.
