We, at Sportz Village believe every kid has a favorite subject! Keeping that in mind, we present to you one of its kind, non-academic topic based fun quiz contest for kids who think they are the 'Best' in their choice of subjects and can challenge anybody from anywhere. Eligibility criteria

Any kid who is under 16 years old as on 1st Sept 2020, is eligible to take part in 'Beat Me If You Can!'.I.e. Born on or after September 1, 2004 to August 31, 2020 (including both days) 

Key Dates and Instructions

The Quiz comprises of three rounds with each round being an elimination round

Level 1 – Registration

1) The quiz is open to school students under 16 years old as on 1st Sept 2020

2) The students should be citizens of India and residing and studying in a school within the territorial boundaries of India.

3) Participants need to buy the Quiz ticket by filling out the online registration form by clicking on 'REGISTER' button the last date of registration is 4th Sept 2020.

4) Registered participants also need to keep their identity proof bearing date of birth ready and should provide whenever requested by the organizer

Level 2 – Participation at Round 1

All the registered participants will be provided with a link to the Round 1 of the Quiz Competition via email (the email will be sent from quiz@sportzvillage.com). The participants will receive the link as per the following schedule:

5th Sept

Bollywood – Participants will receive the link between 3 pm to 3:30 pm and the deadline to complete the Quiz is 4:30 pm

IPL Cricket – Participants will receive the link between 4:30 pm to 5 pm and the deadline to complete the Quiz is 6 pm

Marvel Cinematic Universe – Participants will receive the link between 6 pm to 6:30 pm and the deadline to complete the Quiz is 7:30 pm

6th Sept

Countries, Capitals and Languages – Participants will receive the link between 3 pm to 3:30 pm and the deadline to complete the Quiz is 4:30 pm

Food and Beverages Logo - Participants will receive the link between 4:30 pm to 5 pm and the deadline to complete the Quiz is 6 pm

Instructions to participate (Round 1 and Round 2) are as below:

1. Go to the link received in your email (as per the schedule above) and login with any email ID provided at the time of registration
2. Please enter your full name and correct email ID as provided in the Registration details (we won’t recognise you if you enter some nickname)
3. The quiz awards points for each correct answer and there isn’t any negative marking for incorrect answers. So please attempt all even if you aren’t too sure
4. Each question gives you 20-30 seconds to answer. The faster you answer, the more points you score. Remember, this could play a ‚deciding role‘ in cases of same number of correct answers by two or more opponents.
5. Each Quiz will take not more than 10 minutes of yours :)
6. Lastly, we expect a fair participation from all of you.

Results of Round 1: A total of 10 participants from each topic Quiz in Round 1 will make it to the Round 2: The Semi-finals

The names of all the qualifying participants from Round 1 will be announced on 8th Sept via email to the respective winners in each topic.

Level 3 – Participation at Round 2

All the qualifying participants from Round 1 will be provided with the link to the Round 2 of the Quiz Competition via email The email will be sent from quiz@sportzvillage.com. The participants will receive the link is as per the following schedule:

12th Sept:

Bollywood – Participants will receive the link between 3 pm to 3:30 pm and the deadline to complete the Quiz is 4:30 pm

IPL Cricket – Participants will receive the link between 4:30 pm to 5 pm and the deadline to complete the Quiz is 6 pm

Marvel Cinematic Universe – Participants will receive the link between 6 pm to 6:30 pm and the deadline to complete the Quiz is 7:30 pm

13th Sept:

Countries, Capitals and Languages – Participants will receive the link between 3 pm to 3:30 pm and the deadline to complete the Quiz is 4:30 pm

Food and Beverages Logo - Participants will receive the link between 4:30 pm to 5 pm and the deadline to complete the Quiz is 6 pm

Results of Round 2: A total of 4 participants from each topic Quiz in Round 2 will make it to the Round 3: The Finals

The names of all the qualifying participants from Round 2 will be announced on 15th Sept via email to the respective winners in each topic.

Level 4 – Participation at Round 3

All the qualifying participants from Round 2 will be provided with the link to the Round 3 (The finals - LIVE video Quiz) of the Quiz Competition via email (the email will be sent from quiz@sportzvillage.com). The link to participate will be sent between 5 pm to 6 pm on 18th Sept 2020.

The schedule of the Round 3 (The finals – LIVE video Quiz) is as below:

19th Sept:

Bollywood – 3 pm to 4:30 pm

IPL Cricket – 6 pm to 7:30 pm

20th Sept:

Marvel Cinematic Universe – 11 am to 12:30 pm

Countries, Capitals and Languages – 3 pm to 4:30 pm

Food and Beverages Logo – 6 pm to 7:30 pm

Instructions to participate for Round 3 (Finals) are as below:

1. Every participant needs to have his/her video camera of the computer/laptop ‘Switched On’ throughout the duration of the Quiz
2. Every participant needs to sit alone without talking to any of the family members or friends during the Quiz
3. Every participant needs to have a ‘Stable Internet’ connection throughout the duration of the Quiz
4. During the course of the Quiz, the decision of the Quiz master and Scorer will be final and binding
5. Any participant found taking help from some family member/friend will be disqualified from the Quiz

Result of Round 3:

The final winner will be announced at the end of the Quiz

The Amazon vouchers will be provided to the respective winners by 25th September 2020

Quiz Format

Beat Me If You Can is a ‘favorite topic based’ online Quiz competition for kids under 16 year old. In our first edition, a kid can choose from five non-academic topics, namely Bollywood, IPL Cricket, Food and Beverages Logo, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Countries, Capitals and Languages etc.

The quiz consists of three rounds with each being an elimination round. The quiz for each topic will be run independently to the other topics with its independent winner in the end. Consequently, there will be one winner in each of the five topics.

The Quiz will be held during 5th Sept to 20th Sept 2020 (over three weekends)

Given below are details of each of the three rounds:

Round 1: Qualifiers (5th Sept & 6th Sept)

This round will be an online Quiz, the link for which will be sent to all the registered participants on 5th & 6th Sept. The quiz will consist of 15 objective based questions with each question having its time limit of 10 to 30 seconds.

Round 2: Semi-finals (12th & 13th Sept)

This round will be an online Quiz, the link for which will be sent to all the semi-finalist on 12th & 13th Sept. The quiz will consist of 20 objective-based questions with each question having its time limit of 10 to 30 seconds.

Round 3: Finals (19th & 20th Sept)

This round will be video based LIVE Quiz, the details and link will be sent to all the finalists on 19th & 20th Sept. This round will be hosted by Quiz Master, Tarun Jain
