Trip Overview

Watching fireflies is always exciting, but imagine thousands of fireflies twinkling lights together in a dark forest. This is what you can witness in Bandardara fireflies camping. This event usually takes place during pre-monsoon time which is the ideal period for fireflies and other glow worms for mating. They light up to attract their mate. This process is called bioluminescence. In Bandardara you can see thousands of fireflies creating a beautiful spectacle and magical pattern. You are definitely gonna amaze by the view and the surrounding, we bet on that.

Bhandardara Fireflies Camping is best suited for groups, solo campers, corporates, couples, families and pets.

Bhandardara is attracted by many visitors during the fireflies event. The best part doesn’t end there. We are going to set up the tents for you. Let us give way for the singer inside you around the bonfire while tasting the healthy food cooked locally.

Trip Itinerary

DAY 01 - Saturday

Kasara To Campsite

Participants need to catch the CSMT – Kasara Fast Local.

·        12:43 pm Dadar

·        12:50 pm Kurla

·        12:54 pm Ghatkopar

·        01:12 pm Thane

·        01:28 pm Dombivli

·        02:47 pm Kasara

03:00 Pm – Meet team LBYD at the station and freshen up for a drive to the campsite. Settle in our transfer vehicle as we start our journey to the campsite.

05:00 Pm – On reaching the campsite, enjoy the 1st view of the lake & freshen up to settle in your respective tents.

05:30 Pm – Fill in the tummy with the evening snacks served and sip a cut of hot tea.

06:00 Pm – With the freshness around enjoy the sunset sitting next to the lake.

07:00 Pm – Indulge yourself in a few group games and dance to the music played.

09:00 Pm – Dinner time.

10:00 Pm – After the dinner we take a walk in the dark woods to witness the beautiful fireflies mating. Capture some pictures to take back home.

11:00 Pm – We get back to the campsite and settle near the bonfire to enjoy the live acoustic session followed by a round of ghost stories.

Day Ends.

DAY 02 - Sunday

Campsite To Kasara

07:00 Am – Wake up to the morning freshness and take a walk near the lake.

07:30 Am – Fill in your tummy with the morning breakfast and be ready for boating experience.

10:00 Am – It’s time to say goodbye to this beautiful location. Settle in our vehicle to leave for Kasara Station.

On reaching the station our trip comes to an end with happy memories.

• Any Cost Incurred By The Participants on Meals, Cold Drinks, Mineral Water, etc..
• Any Cost Incurred Due To Unavoidable Conditions Such As Weather Conditions, Road Blocks, Etc..
• Any Cost Incurred Due to The Ill Health or Injury Of the Participant.
• Cost or Things Not Mentioned In The Inclusions.

Things to carry

• Identity proof (Compulsory).
• A bottle of water.
• Some ready to eat food - Plum cakes, Biscuits etc..
• Extra Pair of clothes.
• ORS, Glucose, Electro Powder, Personal Care Medicines prescribed by the doctor.
• An extra pair of slippers/sandals.
• Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
• A haversack to carry your accessories.

Confirmation policy

1.   The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking.

Cancellation policy

1.   If cancellation are made 15 days before the date of travel then 30.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

2.   If cancellation are made 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

3.   If cancellation are made on or before a date prior or on the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
