Day 1:

Drive in to Phuentsholing and complete the immigration formalities

On your first-day gather and meet your buddy at Bagdogra airport then transfer to Phuentsholing which is 4-5 hours drive. As you continue your drive admire Phuentsholing (alt. 300m / 985 ft) - The frontier town, it is a thriving commercial centre, situated directly at the base of Himalayan foothills.

The best thing about this place you can meet different ethnic groups. As Phuentsholing is the entry point this links other states Indian like West Bengal, Sikkim and Assam.

Arrive at Phuentsholing Bhutan and check into your hotel rooms. Also, complete all the immigration formalities.

If time allows we will take a stroll in the bylanes and local market.

Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2:

Phuentsholing – Thimphu

After breakfast complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit the Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). It is a fortified monastery and government palace with gold leaf roofs. Then time to explore the local market of Thimpu for some shopping and relish some local food. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu City Tour – Dochula Pass - Punakha

After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National & Folk Heritage Museum. On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.). to view the higher Himalayas. Arrival at Punakha. Check in at hotel. Overnight stay will be at Punakha / Wangdue.

Day 4:

Punakha/Wangdue – Paro City Tour

After breakfast visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. drive to Paro (7,483 ft.). After that starts to reach at Paro. On arrival visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Rinpung Dzong - Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 5:

Paro City Tour

After breakfast visit Drukgyel Dzong. Also visit famous Taktsang Monastery - also called as “Tiger’s Nest” (It is 2hrs as moderate hiking from the base camp). It is the unofficial symbol of Bhutan and one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in the country. Then visit Kyichu Monastery. After that time to relish some delicious local food.Bhutan’s favourite dish is Ema Datshi is a mix of red chillies and yak cheese. This delicacy is also the national dish of Bhutan and is a must try. For vegetarians there are many options like dumplings and locally grown vegetables. Dinner is at hotel.Overnight stay will be at Paro.

Day 6:

Paro – Phuentsholing

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Phuentsholing. On the way we will do remaining sightseeing of Paro. Also, we can stop at some famous cafes to refresh ourselves. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Day 7:

Phuentsholing – Bagdogra Airport (IXB)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and take the departure transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey to your respective cities with lots of good memories.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation after confirmation with payment anytime before 30 days of the commencement of tour: 15% of the value of the undiscounted tour cost or Rs7000, which ever is less.

Cancelling the tour 30 to 20 days before commencement of the tour:30% of the value of undiscounted tour cost

Cancelling 19-15 days before commencing of the tour: 50% of the undiscounted tour cost

Cancelling 14-11 days before commencement of the tour: 80% of the undiscounted tour cost.
