In less than two years into the music scene, he won the 'Pop-Rock Album of the Year' for 'Sketches of Darjeeling', 'Best Pop-Rock Composition of the Year' & 'Best Male Pop Vocal Performance of the Year' for his song Syndicate at the Hero Hits FM 91.2 Awards. Opening act - Gauley Bhai
Gauley Bhai is a Bangalore- based band formed in 2017. Their music emerges from contemporary Nepali culture, with influences of genres from Folk, RnB and Soul. They are currently working on our first album in Bangalore, called ‘La Paharey’, literally translating to “take it... hillman” in Nepali. Their songs lie in all the spaces around- individual, social and political – geographically rooted somewhere between Kalimpong and Bangalore. The music is shaped by the roots and influences and an attempt to reflect on the spaces they share, beyond borders of geography and language.
