This will be the first edition of Camp Happy and will include sessions on Poetry, Creativity and Dance & Movement with Storytelling.
Poetry 101 by Jasmine Khurrana || Kommune
The workshop aims to engage children in fun activities that make them think beyond the box. They will discover a delight and excitement in words, rhymes and similes to make the process of writing poetry enjoyable.
It will be like a poetry picnic where we are going to have lots of fun while learning how to pen down poetries.
1. The children will begin to find it more interesting to express their thoughts, opinions through verses.
2. They will begin to present poetries in different and more confident ways.
3. Poetry will begin to feel like the best form of self- expression and not as an intimidating cousin of prose.

Through this workshop we will work on improving mind and body awareness and explore different ways to tell a story through dance/ movement. We will create a safe space for learning and sharing through activities, games, music, art, conversations and a whole lot of fun!
1. Self- awareness - understanding our emotions and thoughts better.
2. Kinesthetic awareness - finding new ways to dance and move, improving your dance vocabulary.
3. Confidence in our individual creative processes.
4. Finding and focussing on the joy in creativity, instead of competitiveness.
Things to carry:

क Se Creativity by Harshit Manocha || Kommune
The क se Creativity workshop is a holistic & interactive experience designed with multiple activities, movement games & art prompts. All through the workshop, children shall challenge themselves via various prompts to think outside the box.
A lot of the activities shall encourage them to seek inspiration from nature and things around them. It's going to be a power packed experience of re-looking the world with so many new possibilities.
Key Takeaways: The biggest takeaway is the realization that there is a ton of inspiration around us, if we just start observing. Our everyday objects, things in nature, lights, shadows, and what not - everything opens up an entire world of exploration. And as kids, it's our mission to go for it.
Dates: 8th August 2020 - 9th August 2020
