HEARTENING TO CHITRASARJAN ART

This workshop will draw attention to the essential parts of creating compelling figurative drawing and portraiture. You will focus especially on the effect of light and shade as well as on gradations and variation of charcoal. Our objective is to leave you with the trust, self-confidence and knowledge to continue to expand yourself as an artist. 

The 3-hour beginners' workshop covers the following:

- Introduction to the charcoal and required accessories

- Demonstrations and an explanation of every step she takes during a drawing

- Drawing, Practice sessions and rendering techniques

- Creation of a charcoal artwork

Materials Provided:

- Charcoal Pencil

- Charcoal Sticks and powder

- Eraser, Sharpener, Kneaded Eraser

- Drawing sheets

- Drawing Pencils

- Cotton cloths

- Blending stumps

- Cotton buds

- Fixative spray

Participant Age: Applicable for any age

Materials: Art materials would be provided by the host for usage during the workshop

Experience: No prior experience is required

Refreshment : One complimentary drink is available for all participants

Note: The workshop fees are inclusive of all materials. Walk-ins/spot registrations will be charged 100/- extra.

And the best part? Amateurs, beginners & non artist all are welcome, no experience in drawing and sketching is needed. Even if you have never sketched/painted, this is your chance to see for yourself your true talent.

Oh yes! At the end of the workshop, you get to carry your beautiful sketch home.
