Chikmagalur, nestled in the Western Ghats of Karnataka, is a haven for nature lovers. Known for its lush coffee plantations, mist-covered hills, and serene landscapes, it offers a perfect retreat from city life. Home to iconic peaks like Mullayangiri and stunning waterfalls, Chikmagalur invites travelers to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature, relish aromatic coffee, and explore its rich cultural heritage.
Day 0
● Depart from Bangalore at 09:00 PM.
Day 1
● Arrive at the enchanting homestay nestled amidst the evergreen forests of the Western Ghats, surrounded by lush greenery.
● Refresh and savor a delightful breakfast.
● Journey to the Baba Budan Giri peak to revel in the breathtaking panoramic views of the Western Ghats.
● Explore the scenic Jhari Waterfalls/Dabdabe Waterfalls/Buttermilk Falls.
● Take a short stroll through the cool, dense jungle to reach the waterfalls (Self-sponsored Jeep ride).
● Engage in playful moments amidst the ice-cold water cascading from the mountains.
● Enjoy a satisfying lunch.
● Venture to Karnataka`s highest peak, Mullayangiri, and witness the mesmerizing sunset.
● Experience a thrilling off-road Jeep ride to the peak.
● Return to the homestay and savor locally grown, dry-roasted coffee, freshly brewed for your enjoyment.
● Gather around the campfire for singing, dancing, and sharing talents.
● Indulge in a delectable dinner and conclude the day.
Day 2
● Wake up and freshen up.
● Enjoy a hearty breakfast and check out.
● Visit Siri Cafe for a cup of hot coffee.
● Explore the ancient Belur temple to delve into its rich history or opt for thrilling water activities at Yagachi Adventures.
● Have lunch along the way (self-sponsored).
● Return to Bangalore around 9:30 PM (approx).

Note we will contact you. A day before the trip, we will create a WhatsApp group, add you to it, and share details such as precise pick-up times, location, and more. If there are any changes in pick-up locations, we will inform participants 10-12 hours before the trip begins.
Things To Carry

●Trekking shoes or hiking boots(helps you walk on different terrain with much ease)
●Backpack to carry all the items you need
●Munchies-dry fruits, chocolates, and energy bars
●Trekking pants or trousers(make sure you take comfortable ones)
●Cap or a hat (to look like cool dudes )
●Power Bank(Optional)
●Camera ( optional)
●Sunglasses ( optional)
●Extra cash for things that are not included in the list
●Raincoat( if in case it rains)
●Personal medicine if required
●Any one soft copy of GOVT ID proofs - Will be checked at the entrance by the Govt officers

Age Limit: 10 years and above.
Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded
If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants
An Internet handling fee per ticket may be levied. Please check the total amount before payment
We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior at the venue for a seamless entry
We have designated pick-up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transport to the desired pick-up point accordingly.
No alcohol or drugs during the trip.
No Luxury. We assure awesome memories every trip, but not awesome facilities! We provide basic facilities in terms of food, travel & accommodation.
The itinerary is fixed. No special requests to change itinerary/schedule are permitted
Absolutely No littering during our travels. We swear to protect our environment.
Co-operate with the organizer(s) in following the schedule set for the day (especially getting up and getting ready in the morning). This will ensure travelers won’t miss out on the real fun part – that is traveling.
Every traveler is responsible for his/her own safety while traveling with Adventure Buddha. Don’t indulge in any illegal or silly activity that causes harm to you or your fellow travelers.
Unexpected situations: It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable reasons like bad weather, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by the police/forest department, delay in travel because of an issue with our group itself, traffic conditions, etc. In most cases, if time permits, the organizer(s) will take travelers to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether. No Refund will be applicable for any of the above scenarios.
Travelers are expected to respect each other and help each other. Avoid discussing sensitive matters like sex, politics, and religion/caste/race.
Using foul or abusive language, eve-teasing, arguing with fellow travelers/organizer(s), and/or being involved in physical assault will not be accepted and will stand a chance of being deserted by the Adventure Buddha team.
The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their own limitations.
Baggage and personal effects are at your risk throughout the trip. You are solely responsible for your personal belongings while on the trip. Adventure Buddha is not responsible for the loss of baggage, goods, air tickets, passports, cash, traveler’s cheques, or any other travel document or item owned by you while on tour, whatever the cause.
This trip involves basic facilities in terms of food, travel, and stay without any luxury, whatsoever.
This is a group trip with a shared model. It may not suit everyone – especially for those expecting privacy and comfort. It best suits people who wish to socialize
Homestay with cots with beds/Floor mattresses(sharing basis, separate for boys & girls), clean washrooms
Tempo Traveller or Mini Bus (with push-back seats).
Note: This trip involves an overnight journey on a push-back Seater (Not sleeper or semis-sleeper).
Seats are allotted on a first come first serve basis to the pickup point
