Emerging from famous Freudian theories and supported by modern scientific research, the significance of early childhood experiences has been undeniable. In their early childhood, children are like wet clay that can be moulded by their environment, exemplifying a very critical phase in their development. It is crucial to enrich their rapidly developing brain with adaptive patterns of thinking and behaviour to carry them into adolescence which is likely to be met with tremendous bodily changes and identity crises. As a subfield in psychology, developmental disabilities signify the various biological and mental health concerns during these stages of growth, which demand proactive interventions. 

This workshop has been curated to devise practical methods through which the development of children and adolescents can be best supported by enriching their thinking, language, emotional, and social skills while also prioritising their mental health.
