Things one could do around Goa on Christmas:
1] Head to a Christmas party or food event in Goa:
One could look forward to amazing Christmas parties, brunches - from clubs to 5-star hotels and from restaurants to open-air venues. You could explore workshops and even camping events themed on the festive season, and head over to venues such as Club LPK, SinQ, Curlies, Tito's Nigh Club and several others. Parties would happen all over Goa - at Candolim, Baga, Vagator, Calangute, Anjuna, Palolem and more!
2] Attend midnight Christmas Mass at one of Goa's many churches:
Probably the best way to spend Christmas Eve was to attend a midnight mass with hymms and carols to celebrate the birth of Christ. With almost 400 churches in Goa, people could easily attend a Midnight Mass at one of the churches on Christmas eve.
Nothing gave the satisfying feeling than saying a prayer at Basilica of Bom Jesus – one of India’s oldest churches and a tourist hotspot in Goa throughout the year. At the same time, you could head over to the Immaculate Conception Church to bring in the festivities!
Location:
Immaculate Conception Church, Panaji
3] Ho Ho Ho! Gorge on Christmas Menus all over town!:
You could gorge at Christmas brunches and Christmas Eve dinners. There would be feasts and Christmas special menus happening at almost any other five star hotel, pub, or eating joint during the Christmas week.
Other than its famous seafood offerings, Goa was just the place to gorge various cuisines such as Konkani, Portuguese and more global dishes as well. You had to make sure you visited Thalassa for it's Mediterranean dishes while La Plage serves amazing French food. To grab some delicious Goan delicacies, you could visit Mum's Kitchen. For a continental Christmas meal, there was always A Reverie and Alfama!
Besides the variety of restaurants and shacks, Goa also has Christmas themed buffets at 5-star hotels across the city such as Taj Fort Aguada, Grand Hyatt, The Leela, Le Meridien and several others!

4] Indulge your sweet tooth with Christmas special desserts:
Nothing said Christmas like a good old-fashioned cake. Not just any cake but a delicious aromatic Christmas cake full of soaked fruits and drenched in rum! What's more? Goa has it's very own special desserts such as Bebinca, Patoleo, Bolo De Rulao, Chocolate Marzipan, Rose Cookies and lot's more.
Visiting an old-time bakery during Christmas time was in it's own way a Goan tradition. Many of the bakeries in Goa go back more than 20 years and some like Snow's Bakery in Margao, Geeta Bakery in Panjim and Cafe St. Anthony in Siolim go back four decades or more.
Besides the all time favorites, Goa also has popular options such as German Bakery and La Confiserie Bakery that serve the festival's best and the specialties!

Snow's Bakery, Guirdolim
5] Groove to some awesome acts at nightclubs:
Goa is known for its party life and things were taken up a notch on New Year's Eve and Christmas. Many of the city’s bars and nightclubs host parties, with celebrity DJs spinning the hippest tracks, plenty of festive-themed food and drinks plus energetic crowds, you were certain to have a good time.
You could bring out your party animal and add cheer to the festive mood at clubs such as Club LPK, SinQ, Curlies, Tito's Nigh Club and many more! The last week of December lit up places such as Baga, Vagator and Candolim amongst several other locations across Goa.

6] Attend a firework show:
The whole state of Goa would be covered with Christmas spirit and festivities during the time!
You could head to the beaches of Goa and sit back to watch fireworks lighting up the midnight sky on both Christmas and New Year’s Eve. In North Goa, Anjuna and Calangute are the go-to options to watch fireworks while Colva and Bogmalo beaches were the ones to head to in South Goa.
